I've had this Yamazaki Home Leaning Ladder Rack for about 4 years now, and it's still one of my favorite and most used things I've bought on Amazon. I love that it's not themed or some trendy piece that will look dated later-- it's just got that classic, timeless look and it fits in with everything. It's about 3/4 the height of my doors, and the 'steps' on the ladder are as thin as my fine point Sharpie (!!), but somehow super sturdy. The design looks so sleek and precise, and that one wooden top bar adds that little touch that makes this ladder look more high-end and elegant than a basic black ladder rack. All four ends have rubber tips and they not only protect my floors and walls, but also keep it from sliding, even when it's loaded up. I was a little worried at first after reading the reviews that said it was wobbly, but it is definitely not! This thing is solid. I actually have seventeen pairs of jeans hanging on it right now as I write this (lol!), and it's holding up just fine. What I love the most about this is how easy it is to move around. When family comes to visit, I bring it to the guest room and prop it up on the wall for extra hanging space. During the winter, I usually have it in our living room for blankets and throws. Right now, it's back in my bedroom, holding all those jeans I mentioned :) I originally took photos of it to send to a friend who wanted a leaning ladder like this, and then I started texting everything I love about this, and then decided I should just write a review, too!

This is a great product! It’s priced very well and it’s very versatile. I purchased to use as a blanket ladder to store blankets and fill a large are of open wall space. It looks great! It was very easy to put together; took me less than 5 mins. It seems like it might not be sturdy but I was to put 3 throws and a weighted blanket on it with no issues. It stays against the wall and is stable. I will note the wood color is darker than the color shown in the product pictures. I saw that in other reviews and was actually hoping it was darker than what’s pictured and it definitely is! Its a darker finish with a slight reddish tint.

Nice and tall and easy to assemble but not worth $50.00 in my opinion. Things like this I think to myself: If I saw this in a store what would I be willing to pay to take it home with me? After putting it together I did notice that it's a little wobbly, the bars rotate in their fittings, and it always looks slightly un-proportional to me. That said, it serves it's purpose admirably and I'm happy with it. I just wish there were similar options for less as it looks great but it's not the quality I expected for $50.00. Luckily, it has small rubber stoppers to prevent it from damaging the wall but I'd suggest making sure you have an open space to put it as it's super light.

The overall sturdiness of the rack is a little wobbly, not much, but it does depend on the assembly being tight and staying that way. I plan to loosen the screws and use the blue glue made for this kind fastener security. The assembly is clear cut though the instructions are minimalist drawings, you will need Philips head screw driver, the small Allen wrench is included. And a nice addition, an extra short and long screw were labeled and in in a separate package. Tip: Use a short bungee cord if you are the one person assembly team. It will hold the open end rods in place while you get to the screw end ones in place to tighten the frame. Slight issue with one of the short screw holes not lining up but loosening some of the other joints works, but of course, don't overdo the loosening. This stand replaces an old curlicue metal blanket stand that broke, I don't miss it because it was a room hog. Overall this is a nice slim clean cut well finished rack that displays my seasonal couch throws nicely and separately.

If you're worried about the negative review: that person missed the paper slip added in the package alongside the instructions that tell you to loosen the screws that are already screwed in if when attaching the top half they don't line up. For mine, one side lined up perfectly, but I had to loosen the other side. I ended up loosening both just to make sure they lined up nicely. Yamazaki included a baggie of spare parts just in case, which wasn't needed, but is always appreciated. Also came with white stickers to cover the screws so it looks a little classier from across the room. I'm pleased to have something to store lap blankets on, and to toss sweatshirts and pants on (you know, the ones that aren't dirty enough to wash but not-quite-clean that end up strewn over a chair/dresser/bed.) Looks much nicer and helps my tiny apartment feel less cluttered.

Love the blanket ladder from Yamazaki! If you read the instructions super easy to put together, even alone like I did. The top and bottom bars roll which doesnt change any of the functionality really. Its a sturdy metal, it is lightweight but with blankets on it etc not so easy to budge on accident. Love it and matched my aesthetic perfectly.

A nice, lightweight, and attractive ladder. Assembly was no big deal. I’m excited to use it to help organize those jeans and sweatshirts you’ve worn once and aren't clean enough to go back in a drawer but have a wear or two left before needing washed. Only bummer is mine came missing one of the six horizontal rods that make up the ladder rungs. I’ve double checked the box hoping I just missed something, but pretty sure it was just shipped with incomplete parts.
