Chose this stand as I liked how the bottom of the wheel support legs attaches to the base over the ones that use curved tubes at that point. Everything aligned and fit together - the stand itself and attaching my force feedback wheel, shifter, and pedal set to it. Two posts for the steering wheel mount turned out to be far better than getting a stand with a single center post. Bought a different company's seat and that fit correctly too. Being able to keep the wheel/pedals and seat in two separate assemblies is a big help as each is pretty heavy. I bought a couple moving dollies to set and roll around them on, the connecting legs are easy to put in when I want to use it. Next step is to build a better and little higher platform on the dollies to set it on. The biggest downside is not having much faith in the quality of the steel it's made from.

Easy to put together, shipping was fast and it works great. As expected with this design, the only downfall is the platform for the steering wheel has some side to side play. It is easy fixed going to a hardware store def worth the price.

I had high hopes for this setup, but was extremely disappointed after assembling this sim cockpit. The tolerances in the screwholes are so poor that regardless of how hard you tighten the adjustment screws, there is an inch of play from did to did and 3-4 inches of play up and down in the steering wheel stand. The length adjustment also doesn't lock surprisingly and results in the chair portion separating from the wheel and pedal portion during moderately long gaming sessions. The shifter stand also cannot be used if the steering wheel height is all the way down, so you'll need to raise the wheel so high that at 5'8", I can barely see over it. I absolutely would not recommend this setup to anyone. It you cannot afford a more robust simulator, it may be a better option to build one yourself from pvc or extruded aluminum bars. Anything is better than this product.

Study and easily collapsible for travel. You’ll need universal seat mounts for the chair you buy but zip ties can work in the interim

It really is worth the money. You add whatever seat you want so I guess comfort level is kind of on you. I bought this for my fiance and he is 6'4 and it extends long enough for him to drive comfortably. It is a bit wobbly because of the design but we added some support bars and that fixed it. Definitely easier and cheaper than building his own set up.
