I bought this for PC / SMD work and it is great. I am able to do micro work under the microscope with tiny bits, grind coating from the board to tap in or cut. I even ground a hole (test) in a chip and board as a test for power YEP. Yes I am able to grab the bit and stop the spin with my hand but come on I did not buy it for that. I also want to make sure I tell you this great fact for I did not know what I was looking at before the purchase. This tool does not require an allen wrench to grip the bit, it presses in as if to be grabbed by a rubber O-ring. Fast in and out, and perfect for me. PS i don't need the patterns.

Cons: Although it comes with tools for buffing and cutting, it really doesn’t have enough power to sand or cut anything stronger than cardstock, fingernails, or skin. Pros: It is definitely useful for *engraving. I haven’t yet tried any metals or glass, but it works on wood and plastic. I successfully engraved the measurements on all my measuring spoons that had lost their labels. I also like the slender *design, like a pen, so it’s easy to handle and manipulate.

I filled out a seller review first, then realized this is the item review! The item was well described and it came very quickly. I ordered it for one project, but all the attachments are great! the drill attachment works for my jewelry (adding holes to cabochons - wear a mask!) and the cutters are great for paper and I'm looking forward to trying it on fabric. Nice etching, small learning curve (hand shakes at first) but highly recommend this product! Keeps a good charge too!

The first time I used this engraving pen, I was amazed by its performance. The grip design is very comfortable and feels good when using it without getting tired. The speed of the engraving pen can be adjusted, which allows me to flexibly adjust it to the needs of different materials, especially when dealing with some fine details, the effect is perfect. Highly recommended.

This is a nice addition to your toolkit if you enjoy crafting. Comes with a huge array of tips so you can polish, etch, engrave, etc. I also like that it has a stencil pack to experiment with, esp when first starting out. My only wish is that you could tighten the top connector to the tips so that they have more resistance— it’s possible it’s just me, but I couldn’t figure out how to. The other thing is it seems you need a small screwdriver (much smaller than normal sized) in order to fasten on some of the saw tips. I wish they would include that since it seems difficult to find a specialty one that fits.

After using it, it is very easy to operate, light in the hand, and does not tire your hands. When carving, the motor has sufficient power and a stable speed, and the carvings on wood and plastic are very detailed and smooth. Very satisfied with this tool!

I bought this for my daughter and she really liked it! Engraving pen has a good grip and comes with a pack of carving, drilling, polishing bits and templates. Very simple to use. It holds decent charge and charges with type-c. Definitely recommend it.
