I got this little anchor for my SUP. It works perfectly to keep me from floating away when I want to stay put and just chill in one place. Its kind of bulky and it is extra weight so I don't carry it will me all the time. It does come with a handy little storage bag and lots of line. It was a good value for the money. Would definitely buy again.

Using these on a pair of kayaks used for lake fishing. Also added maze cleats for easy operation by my 12 year old. Pretty clever mechanism to simply lock it in stowed or open positions. I’m not sure if it was necessary, but I added foot long lengths of I think 1/4” chain at the top of the anchor. The idea behind it’d help tilt the anchor and set in place - suggested by a friend with a LOT more hours on bigger boats!

Good quality for the price, it does have a hard time holding a kayak in place at times. I go fishing on a weekly basis with my kayak, and it depends on the body of water you’re in. I would recommend this anchor but would recommend a heavier weight.
