Easy to install. works great for the most part. every now and then one of the burners does not want to light so i knock the heat plate a bit and keep trying. that seems to work. the burner grates are heavy but they seem to have some small orange spots on them that won't come off. not sure what causes this. i thought i would like the knobs at the front because this would give me more cooking room on the sides - however, i seem to knock the knobs when i am moving pots on and off the stove and now have a burn mark on one of the knobs. the knobs are sleek but i was hoping to change them out soon. the paint showing what each burner the knob is for is very light and i am worried it is going to rub off eventually. the heat plates are very glossy and maybe they did that so it looks more modern? i prefer the more muted over the glossy. CLEANING - THIS IS THE WORST!!! it will scratch with just about ANYTHING. you must be very careful. i usually use a small handheld vacuum for crumbs but it will scratch it if not careful. ive resorted to a soft napkin and a bit of water and dawn. i feel like it is flemsy = when i sit a full pot of water on it, the entire stovetop - it seems to wiggle slightly until the weight settles. maybe it needs a support under it or thicker metal? i do like that it is a 5 burner and i have 2 large burners. the middle burner does boil water at a decent pace - but im not usually in a hurry and start with hot water to move it along. i probably wouldnt purchase this one again, but i was in a pinch and needed something quickly and this was available. ... show more
