The product looks modern and very elegant, installation is straightforward, and everything communicates with the app and gateway (sold separately) well. After 9 months of using the product, I am starting to experience multiple problems. The fingerprint does not consistently work, but it’s definitely not broken because it works fine when I attempt to set up a new fingerprint. Another major issue is the device is losing battery unrealistically fast. I bought a brand new set of batteries and the device started saying low battery after 7 days of installing the new batteries. Something is wrong with the device, and it’s not clear what. No customer support contact is provided. Pretty disappointed as this product is not on the cheaper side, and the fingerprint ability is a key feature of buying this in the first place. ... show more

    • Sharp looking design!
So far I'm very impressed with this door knob. It was very easy to install and looks really nice. All of the parts and screws were labeled as step 1, 2, etc. which made it even easier to install. Once installed, you download the app and set up all the various ways for unlocking, like fingerprints, codes, keys, and fobs. So far the fingerprint scanner works great. It's only been a few days, so we'll see as time goes on. It says you can add something like 350 fingerprints which is amazing. I did a couple for one of my thumbs to make sure it reads no matter where I place it, or whatever angle, and this has worked great. I really like that you can create unique, one-time codes for people, see who and when someone unlocked the door, and fully customize this lock. You can have it relock after you enter at pretty much any time limit. Or even tell it to remain unlocked for certain times of the day. And if the batteries go dead, you can use an actual key, or plug in a USB to power it temporarily so you can unlock. The only thing that slightly bugged me at first was that there is no way to manually unlock it from the inside. There isn't the little lever thing to twist to unlock. Love the look and the fingerprint reader. Having trouble with keypad. It says my lock if offline but I can’t find any way to fix it and customer service is hard to find. My wifi is working perfectly in the house so I don’t know why it’s not connected all of a sudden. Also, bought a G2 interface to use it with Alexa but hav le not been able to pair this either. ... show more

First set came defective. The locking mechanism did not engage. Contacted the seller and I received a new set after just a few days. Worked great the second time around!

I like the features and the simplicity to install but it stopped locking after about two weeks. Not sure if I installed wronged, I hate a handy man install for me.
