Works well in north Florida winter. Hands have remained warm during two uses in the deer stand, and that is my PRIMARY concern. No issues working the mechanics of either bolt or lever action rifles. BUT! You never really get over the fear that the monster buck, lurking just inside that tree line, heard the velcro scrape against your other glove! I don't really think the deer care, personally, but that has to be your decision. I have large hands and a XXL glove would have been a better fit. This is my second pair. I got about a years worth of hard use out of my first pair. I’ve used em out in the duck blind, ice fishing, hiking, at work running heavy machinery, even winter walks with the wife. My fingers and toes are usually the only thing that gets cold and these gloves work well to keep them warm. Only reason the first pair wore out was from the flap coming unstitched. The fluff was starting to loose it’s fluffiness so instead of stitching it back on I opted to get a new pair. For the price ya can’t beat the quality. ... show more
