The media could not be loaded. Before starting to talk about this fountain there is something very important for you to know. Notice that there are three different sizes. What they do not make clear is that each of those sizes is an entirely different style. They’re similar but yet they are very different. It wasn’t until I was watching a video about it that a small hint gave away that they were talking about a completely different product. For the record, the one I will be talking about is is 36.1 inches, the tallest one. Only it and the smallest one are see- through, the middle size is solid. I have always wanted this kind of fountain. When I was very young I lived on Ocean Avenue in Carmel California. At that time this was on a must have in every home and apartment from the affluent neighborhoods to everyday people. Carmel is a quaint oceanside artist community with one main street that is filled with artisans creating and selling their work. At that time copper was cheap and in every other shop you’d find someone hand making fountains similar to this one, the difference being those most of those were individual one-of-a kind and as such, even though the raw materials may have been cheaper affluent tourists were paying from $200 up to several thousands. Today with the price of copper they would probably be unaffordable. FAST FORWARD Okay, that’s history, so what about this fountain? While it has an antiqued copper-looking finish it is made of something else, probably steel because magnets attach to it. It looks reasonably good to place in an outdoor garden but I wouldn’t consider it for indoors for several reason, one of which they make clear in their own instructions that it splashes. This is a very basic replica of this type of fountain and I’ve seen better ones for less money but what you buy should be what you like. FEATURES Unlike some similar units the bowls on this do not fill then tilt to fill the next bowl. They are fixed in place and simply overflow into each other. That produces a louder splash which is very acceptable for outdoors but not what most people would describe as peaceful and tranquil. That’s during the day. My nighttime experience with this as where the major disappointment came in. The light that comes with this (it’s actually wired directly to the transformer so it is part of the unit) is a blinding bright blue/white bulb that reminds me of a car dealership parking lot. It is not color changing, not dimmable, cannot be turned off without turning the entire fountain off and it attaches by a magnet in full view so you can’t escape looking directly at it. It only light up the top bowl and very slightly the second one but from there down it is completely dark. The person who designed this must have had no concept of zen or the words peaceful and tranquil. I can’t imagine any conditions in which this could be called pretty or beautiful. I posted both a photo and a video to show what it looks like. HINT The pump and transformer are generic and not specifically designed for this fountain so they do not fit easily, the place you connect the clear plastic tubing faces upward and the angle is too extreme for the tube to work without kinking it, even if you trim it with scissors like you have to anyway. But here’s a hint – the pump does not have to face upward, in other words with the suction cup feet facing down, if you lay it on its side it will work exactly the same and you can move it far enough away to avoid kinking the tube. Because it is fully submerged it can pump in any direction. YES OR NO This wouldn’t be my first choice, and my suggestion is to go somewhere where you can see fountains in action and find one you like. If you shop on the net realize that unless you find a custom maker of these things almost everything will be mass produced in China and they will all use almost identical parts. The thing I suggest you look closest at it the lighting system, whether it is a soft glow that is dimmable and perhaps has color changing bulbs or whether it is a failure like this one with a light that looks like it was salvaged from a warehouse security system. When time permits I will definitely be removing that light and if I replace it I’ll find something much softer that lights up all four bowls. I don’t want to say no to this thing but I can’t believe any fair evaluation of it could say it is any more than a three star average product.

This is a great Fountain for my front / Back yard or porch ! Ever since I have placed it on my porch, I have received many compliments. It is very easy to assemble / put together. It is not that heavy and can be moved around easily. The submersible pump is works really great on different settings. It’s soothing to watch the water flowing from one tier to another. The sound is strong as well as the flow of water. It’s great that it’s rust resistant. The finish is really nice and color looks gorgeous. Attached magnetic light can be placed in different directions, on the top or side of the Fountain. At night the light adds to the beauty of this fountain. The two things that bother me about this fountain are that I cannot place it on the wooden floors or indoors because the water spills out and the sound of falling even at the lowest setting is a bit too high for me. It sounded as if I had left the tap running. Upon trying it indoors for a couple of nights on a tiled floor I noticed all these issues. Overall, this is a nice rust proof fountain to use outdoors that might bring you a lot of compliments as it did to me !

The media could not be loaded. This is beautiful and gives me my water element in my backyard. I did have to trim a couple of the tubes because the original lengths were bending preventing the water to flow properly. You can control the how but even at the lowest how setting, it's still a little to loud. But that's just my preference in having a more calming waterfall from afar sound instead of being really close to it. It fits perfectly where I wanted it. The light bar is magnetic so you can place it-wherever it sticks.

Ina way this is a really pretty fountain. The lighting though takes a lot of the beauty away. I really wish the lighting was better especially for the price of this thing. It is lightweight and materials seem to be a little cheap. This just seems like it’s mass made which takes some of the quality away. There is no real copper or anything. Everything is just mainly painted. The fountain does work really well and the water flowing gives off a relaxing sound. I do like this fountain I just feel like it could be a little better and if the lighting was done differently it would make a big difference. As of right now I can only give this 3 stars.
