I didn't realize this was a German brand, otherwise I would have sized down. (I am 5'1", with most of my extra weight in hips and thighs). My pair is definitely too big around the waist and in the leg, but otherwise they are fairly comfortable. The silicone full seat is honestly a little too sticky, but that's probably more a personal preference than any fault of the manufacturer. Bonus is, they are surprisingly warm, which works well for me as I live in Alaska. I would say they are medium weight and good for spring/fall chill and not as warm summer days. ... show more

I was worried the size 32 would be too tight but it fits great. I’m 5’7” 155 lb. These are stretchy and thicker, really nice color and good quality.

While the size I ordered (30) ended up being far too big for me (5’5”, 130 lbs, usually a size 4) I ended up keeping them (after missing return date) and decided to use a belt. These are an extremely comfortable double knit material, but will only keep a person who is always cold like me, warm when it is above 50. Highly recommend, but be aware if you do order up, you’ll end up with a saggy crotch as well if you post a lot … which can be distracting during lessons. ... show more

These breeches fit great with no significant change in fit after washing. I got a size 32US in the dark blue or navy color. Not too snug but not loose either. No camel toe. The fabric is somewhat on the thicker side and seems very durable and like it will last a long time. Also they didn’t stretch out or feel looser after wearing and riding in them. The silicone feature are tiny dots, is subtle, and not overly sticky or obviously shiny like some I’ve tried. They look very firmly attached to the fabric and like they will not detach or fall off easily. The only complaint I may have if I’m being picky is that the color was a bit duller after the first wash and makes me suspect the fabric will fade rather quickly. I bought these on Amazon due to the fast shipping, I love the Horze products. I ride in a Barefoot Endurance saddle, and wanted to get rid of the sheepskin cover I was using for added “grip” because it was too bulky. After reading many blogs and reviews of different alternatives for slippery saddles I decided to try the Silicone Grip full seat breech. Best decision ever my only regret is not trying them sooner. They have just enough grip for security in the saddle. The material is thick enough so not see-thru; they don’t fit so tight that they cut off circulation. They are breathable and durable. Amazing value for the money I will be buying more! Pay attention to the size chart before ordering, the nice thing is they have several size options for curvy shapes. I’m 5’1” , 125 lbs and have thick thighs and hips and these fit so nice unlike the styles they are “straight up and down”. There is a little bit of a gap at the waist but I’m fine with it, it doesn’t restrict my movement and a stretchy belt does the trick. The fact that these are available on Amazon at a great price and Prime shipping is a double whammy of goodness. ... show more

I'm on the older (and fluffier) side and these were the first riding breeches I've purchased. Well made and comfortable. Sizing was a bit difficult. I normally wear a size US size 8 in jeans, Amazon recommended size 32. They were loose all the way around. Sized down to a 28 and they are perfect. If I had gone by my actual measurements they would have been way too big. They are stretchy enough I maybe could get away with the next size down, but haven't washed them yet. These breeches are a few months old. They are worn 2-3x per week by a busy 12 year old. The silicone is coming off and I have sewn them in 3 places so far but just on the seams. One in the back center just under the belt and two place on the inside leg seams. They are fairly thick so better for the Florida winter or spring/fall in other areas. They are much too warm and sturdy for summer riding. They are ok and fit ok. Her favorite for not needing to be adjusted when she wears a belt but now it's just too hot out. The tan ones seems to have marks on them that look like water stains. Very ood but they don't wash out so I don't know what that's from. The navy ones are fading faster than one would hope. Still, she likes them and washes them herself just to wear them again so it's a bit of love hate for me. ... show more

They arrived today, so I have yet to wear them while riding, but I already have a complaint. I ordered based off the sizing chart and was told true to size. I tried them on and I should have gone down a size. I’m 5’1” and 135 and ordered a 28 because of having thicker hips/thighs. They are loose around my waist and I have to tuck them under my feet so they don’t bunch at the ankles. If you’re short like me just be aware they are meant for taller people and consider going down a size from what the size chart says. ... show more
