I needed something to keep my extremely smart and easily bored Arabian entertained while on stall rest. He does get access to his paddock but strictly no grass right now. So needless to say, he was getting bored. He has a jolly ball but he’s food motivated so I wanted to try something that would emulate foraging. Enter this toy! I can stuff about a quarter of a flake of Timothy in there, and he usually goes for it before his hay net because he enjoys bopping it around. He does empty it rather quickly but it’s easy enough to stuff hay in there I do a quick refill when I check on him between filling his actual hay net. I really hope Jolly Ball reads reviews, cause this is a great product, but needs to be bigger. My husband has large hands and it's difficult for him to stuff, AND it would be even better if it was a larger size to hold more hay. My horse has limited hay available to her due to metabolic issues and it's a great product to slow her down and keep it fun. When given the choice, she actually goes to this ball to pick out the hay before eating the rest of her hay that is free choice in the manger. That truly surprised me. So now I'm buying three more to put around the stall. They are very durable and worth the money if my horse enjoys using them. ... show more
