The HORI Racing Wheel Apex is a solid choice if you want to get into racing games without spending hundreds of dollars. Setup was simple—just plug it into my PS5, and it was recognized right away. Works perfectly with Gran Turismo 7. Pros: • Easy setup & compatibility: Officially licensed, so it works seamlessly with PS5, PS4, and PC. • Good controls: Buttons are responsive, and the paddle shifters feel crisp. • Adjustable sensitivity: Steering sensitivity can be fine-tuned to your liking. • Great value: Much more affordable than higher-end force-feedback wheels. Cons: • No true force feedback—uses bungee resistance, so it doesn’t feel as realistic as premium wheels. • Pedals are functional but lightweight; they can slide around unless secured. Overall, this is an excellent budget-friendly wheel that makes racing games much more immersive. Bought this for my son for his birthday. Great entry level wheel… obviously doesn’t have some of the features that a higher end wheel has, but works very well. Don’t listen to the naysayers that claim it doesn’t work for Gran Turismo 7… my son is literally playing it with the wheel as I type this.
