I actually took the steering wheel off from my 1980 civic and mounted this as my steering wheel. I figured since the car is on blocks in the driveway it’d be ok. I sit in the car for hours at a time making race car noises and listening to David Coverdale songs.,

    • Buy it. Really its perfect for Mario Kart
When it comes to motion controls the Switch is amazing. You won't experience it well with an inferior small plastic wheel. The Mario wheel is larger than anyother for the Switch and is of higher quality plastic as well. Simply it holds up to childrens destruction attempts. Removing the joycons is easy enough for a toddler and the fit is snug as well. Control is excellent. My 3yo is far better with the wheel than a joystick. The triggers work well, and the steering is easy for adults and small children. This is an incredibly fun way to play and accurate. Kids love it and it works well for adults too. This is a great quality wheel! I thought it would be a fun addition to the super Mario racing switch game. Kids seem to prefer to just use the joycons though so it's not getting much use.

Got these for my nephew for Mario Kart, as it can be hard to hold the tiny Switch controllers when playing with multiple players. He loves them, and it really is easier on your hands. Seem to be well built too, as they have held up to his use for over a year.

    • Just get a proper wheel
If you really want the wheel racing feel, get the proper one with pedals; this one is kind of small, teens and adults may feel too tiny; but for small kid they will get confuse how to use it to turn, at least for my son, got him the Mario wheel and the result is much better
