Description

Introducing the HORI Farming Vehicle Control System for Windows 11/10! Developed in collaboration with GIANTS Software, the creators of the Farming Simulator series, to provide realistic operation experience for specialized vehicles and equipment. Our Farming Vehicle Control System includes a large 13.4 in / 34 cm diameter rubberized steering wheel based on real vehicles features a turn signal control lever and spinner knob for realistic simulation and control. Also includes a three full sized foot pedals unit and control panel unit with a total of 76 buttons eliminating the need for a keyboard or additional peripherals. The control panel unit features a twist axis joystick and separate throttle level for the ultimate control in Farming Simulator. Hall Effect sensors on the wheel, pedals, control stick and levers ensure long-term durability and accuracy. Steering wheel and control panel can be easily mounted to your desk for stability, and customize sensitivity, button layout, and other settings with the companion app. Please download and install the latest firmware from the HORI website before using the HORI Farming Control System or if you encounter any issues.

Started out it was working very well. Now after less than 30 days use, I have to unplug and plug in the wheel for it to turn correctly. Sometimes while driving it turns the vehicle by itself. I go to their website and the link to download their app doesn't work. I guess I should have waited for this to be out on the market longer so they can fix the bugs. I preorder, waited and then was very excited to use the system. It worked great...... for 2 days. The wheel lost control, wouldn't turn right. Tried everything. Nothing would correct the issue. Tried a different PC. Same issue. Reached out to Hori support who chose not to get back to me. I returned the system. I would buy the side panel alone but NOT the wheel. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. 3/29/24 Review Update! This is a revision to the review and a better score IMO. Well from all of the stuff I wrote in the original review and contrary to other reviews of bad customer service, I must say that I experienced a much better outcome and interaction with Hori. In my discussions with them I expressed that I didn't want to just provide negative feedback because of my original experience, but because I was so excited about this product and wanting it to succeed, I thought I would go the route of communications directly with the OEM. Now the next part, I would not suggest that you do, but I am a "techy" person and I felt that I could open up both the original and the first replacement as I do have some understanding of how these units work. Now granted I did tell Hori I did this and to their credit, after chastising of course (understandable) the let me know that they typically will not warranty any product where the customer has opened a unit up. I thought I was willing to pay that price if necessary if it provided good technical feedback to Hori. With further discussion(s) and their technical review of the batch(es) that my original and replacement wheel, that they had experienced similar incidences and this may have been the issue. There is no further confirmation to that, but IMO if they are willing to admit that "things happen" especially on a product that is in it's infancy of production, then they scored with me. I understand these things happen and respect the acknowledgement of these issues. TBH not a lot of folks will do that. Awesome! As for further feedback on the product, well It is much better than the Saitek IMO. I really like the larger wheel however I quickly replaced the turning knob with a larger one from Amazon and added a leather cover. It does make it feel a lot beefier in your hand. I have also used this with not only FS22 but ATS/ETS as well. Works great with all titles I have tried so far. So in summary, it is a nice wheel and pedals. This joystick could use an adjustable palm rest. I like the push throttle on the joystick base but would have preferred this function was on the joystick itself to better simulate combine driving. Although a little frustrating starting experience with Hori which was a first for me they scored big in my book with their insistence on making this product right. I have since purchased their shifter for use in ATS/ETS as well. I hope this helps stable out some of the bad reviews, including my original. Have fun with this peripheral folks, hopefully they are able to get all the potential issues resolved and have fun farming! Original Review First of all I was extremely excited about the release of this product since it was first announced. I missed to boat on the first shipment as it quickly was sold out so, I got the second round of stock. When I got the unit and plugged it it and performed a calibration in windows I was quite alarmed at the raw data output in counts around zero or approx. 20k counts. With slight movement of the wheel in either direction the counts would jump approx. 2-3k counts quickly then slow down with further movement of the wheel. At this point I considered replacing the wheel through Amazon but decided to contact Hori directly to maybe offer some direct technical feedback of this product. Eventually I received response and despite the fact that I had already opened the wheel housing and after shifting of the PC board which supports the sensor I got it to work. It would sometimes go crazy but literally slapping the top of the housing helped to resolve the issue. However, at the credit of Hori, they wanted to solve my issue and requested I return the wheel to the CA office, even if I no longer had the original packaging. Anyway they were great in immediately sending a new unit out the same day I showed it arrived, no questions asked. Impressive. So, I received the second unit and not only did the second wheel have the same issue, it was even worse. This time the counts were closer to ±4k-6k from the slightest rotation of the wheel. As you can imagine in game this was worse jerking of the steering wheel than an xBox controller or using the keyboard to steer. I held back in doing any more troubleshooting and immediately sent an follow up email expressing the worsened issue. After a week+ of no response "silent quite" from Hori, I presumed that there would be no further response from "crazy customer" so I decided to open the unit up to make another attempt to fix it as I did the first one. When opened I found there was another issue, that I did not test and that was the plug jack that holds the horn cable to the pc board. I was literally hanging on to the board by a single cold solder joint of the four that the jack is affixed to the board. So, here I am without a wheel and it's back to the Logitech until I can find a direct drive replacement. I am not saying not to buy this product, but maybe you will have better luck with your unit. ... show more

    • For Farming Simulator 22 ONLY!
This would be an awesome setup if the wheel and pedal set could be used on other sim games that support wheel and pedal sets. Because this is built specifically for farming simulator 22, I feel that the $499 price is way too steep. This unit requires a lot of key mapping just to get comfortable functionality on FS22. Out of the box the most basic functions require multiple button inputs before mapping. Took roughly an hour to get 90% of inputs mapped into an ergonomic setup. ... show more

The implement controllers still work however the steering wheel itself has stopped working, of course outside the return window. My son got this for Christmas, I did the preorder and he was ecstatic to have it only to be disappointed. The “support” is not support it’s a joke. Find a different wheel until they get the kinks in this one fixed! ... show more

As with all other users started out with no issues, but over a very short time period the steering wheel stopped turning all the way to the right. Buyer beware. DO NOT purchase. Buy the Saitek setup. The HORI is nothing but a pile of worthless junk! DO NOT PURCHASE!

Just bought this and should have just gone with Logitech. The control panel stopped working after two days of using. Some buttons work but the joystick and all the buttons stopped working. I spent hours messing with me pc drivers trouble shooting firmware updates and tutorial videos trying to figure what was going on. Not worth the money. ... show more

Replaced the first one after steering wheel failed in 1 day. Replacement for above the Joystick failed after a week. Major quality problems, I returning and replacing again.

    • NO SUPPORT FROM HORI
Recived the controller Nov 21, 2023 late. Dec 2, 2023 steering wheel no longer turns right! Contacted Amazon, was told contact HORI first before return or replace. Attempted to contact HORI through website 2 times a week. Left support request each time. No response ever from HORI. Go back to Amazon they tell me product outside of return or replacement window sorry. Contact HORI! I like the product and what it can do when working. But DO NOT recommend purchase at this price of anything that only works for 2 weeks. Bad support from Amazon. Terrible really NO SUPPORT from HORI. Cannot recommend this product. ... show more
