  • This Helmet Saved My Head. 10/10 Helmet, 0/10 Body Armor
Color: Matte Black Size: X-Large
So here’s the thing: this helmet? Absolute champ. Me? Not so much. I had the pleasure of testing it the hard way when my bike hydroplaned in a sudden downpour. My head hit the ground like a Spotify ad between sad songs (sudden, jarring, and completely uncalled for), and I felt nothing. Not a headache, not a wobble, just pure “huh, neat! It works!” The rest of my body was...not as neat, but my brain was chillin. Even my glasses somehow stayed on my face. Fit-wise, the XL hugs my head like my mother never did. The dual visor is perfect for Florida’s weather mood swings (from “stormy gloom” to “OH MY GOD THE SUN” in 0.3 seconds). Ventilation? Solid. Padding? Comfy. Modular mouthpiece? Perfect for yelling “I’M OKAY” to concerned bystanders. Quick-release strap? Maybe not the Fort Knox of safety features, but it held up when I turned into a bowling ball, so I’m not complaining. If you want NASA-grade protection, you’ll pay NASA prices. But if you’re like me, broke but still emotionally invested in having a skull, this helmet’s the move. It keeps your noggin safe and your dignity mostly intact. Buying my replacement right now. Wish me luck, guys. ... show more

  • The price is right
Color: RedBlack-Led Size: X-Large
Nice and snug however it does cut out the sound around you as much as I wish but the pice is great and it serves it's purpose

  • Just as good as helmets that cost 3 times more
Color: GLOSS BLACK Size: Medium
Very comfortable helmet. If you have a speaker system for your helmet under the ear pads they have cutouts for your speakers and even routing for the wires. Feels just as sturdy and quality as the helmets that cost hundreds of dollars. The retractable shades dont come all the way down the length of the visor like other helmets I have had. It blocks out the sun well but I like being able to have the full length personally, just mildly annoying to me specifically but it doesnt take away from the helmet quality. ... show more

  • Great Helmet for the Price

  • Great helmet
Color: White Size: X-Large
Bought this as an upgrade from a downhill mountain bike full face helmet. It's definitely heavier ( I think its nearly 5 lbs?) but wow you feel much safer with this and it's so much more comfortable. The airflow is great. I will say though when it's hot and you're sweating a little if you aren't moving the lenses fog up FAST which is dangerous and I really don't like that but at least you can flip the visor up easily. Very comfortable. Oh I will say there's a terrible sound echo inside the helmet. If you raise your voice to talk to people through the helmet it's like you're yelling at yourself inside the helmet which I also don't like. Still worth it though for the price. ... show more

  • Ok helmet for the price
Color: Matte Black-Led Size: X-Large
So, first, what I like: Some may think this a negative, but this helmet is much heavier than my Orz helmet which makes it feel like it’s much more substantially constructed. The helmet’s main and secondary visors move nicely with the lever for the secondary visor in a convenient place that doesn’t get obstructed by my Bluetooth intercom. The interior of the helmet is thoughtfully designed with channels in the foam for installing a wired headset and deep recesses for speakers. The interior padding is comfortable and sits snugly against your head creating a feeling of safety. The only negatives I have are mostly surrounding the build tolerances. The helmet is noisy. There’s a lot of wind noise and whistling when not behind the bikes windscreen. Today is the first time I got caught in the rain wearing this helmet. As I was wiping the visor, I found streaks I couldn’t clear and discovered that it was water running down the inside of the visor and obstructing a clear view of the road. The only other observation I have is that the airflow isn’t fantastic. The air current inside the helmet feels the same whether the vents are open or closed and that flow isn’t directed down the inside of the visor so an anti-flog shield is pretty much a necessity. So, not certain I would buy this one again. I really like the quality feel, comfort and forethought of building it to accommodate an headset, but would really want something that had better performance for sound, airflow and waterproofing. ... show more

  • Was a little weary of this but seems to be a good helmet
Color: White Size: Large
Some of the components seem cheap and flimsy plastic but its the non-functional pieces. The functional parts like vents, clips, etc all seem quality. Its quite comfortable and lightweight. The visors etc are easy to use and work well. I thought I might want to return it when it came but after two rides, I think it's an ok helmet. I hope it's safe and will protect in a crash. It seems like it would. I don't do a lot of highway riding but it's comfortable at 70mph and below, not much wind noise or whistles or vibration. Also, pretty good ventilation but not great. My head wasn't hot but I had helmets in past that had better airflow ventilation. One thing I didn't care for is with face / chin part down, didn't feel like I had options or was getting a lot of fresh air. I had a fixed full face helmet years ago and I remember it had 3 vent settings. You could get enormous air flow to breathe or dial back couple steps and close air flow. While I didn't really get hot or sweaty, I didn't notice much difference in vents open or closed. On my old helmet years ago, if I opened top vents, you definitely felt airflow and cooling. I had in Colorado and remember closing because in fall your head would get cold. This helmet, I don't think there is a airflow path inside. Probably some Air comes in, but there are not good channels. ... show more
