I love the velvet. depth of color changes throughout the day/ lighting which adds more character to the bedroom. The bed was package nicely and to some extent easy to put together. The parts don't have labels on them so I had to go by the pictures on the instruction sheet. The bed came with a couple imperfections but not big enough that it would be noticeable. The bed “looks” like the picture just a cheaper version (if that makes sense) it did have a weird smell but once aired out it was fine. Only two pieces were labeled but still fairly easy to put together with the pictured instructions. It took roughly two hours for me to put together. I have mines set up with a box spring but you 100% don’t need it unless you don’t mind the “small/shorter” headboard look…. Btw the legs are some sort of plastic idk how sturdy they will be long term ... show more
