This hooded hair dryer isn’t the one I grew up using a pre-teen but boy does it still get hot like it! I have curly, fine hair that I deep condition weekly. This device is perfect for adding a bit of steam to my hair without taking much time. The dryer itself is a lot longer than I thought. The hose is long so be mindful of that when using. I love how the dryer part is adjustable so you can use it on curly and straight hair. It’s easy to use. Simply attach your hair dryer to the hose and let the heat flow. As I mentioned before, it does get hot so keep that in mind. I like how the hose is also adjustable so it can fit a variety of hair dryers. The dryer comes in a black bag and it consolidates so you can easily pack it to travel or store at home.

attaches securely to my hair dryer and works well overall. it holds the heat evenly, which helps my curls dry faster without me having to stand there holding a diffuser the whole time. the design mostly makes sense and it fits around my head comfortably, but the plastic adjustment piece on the elastic sits right behind my ear on me and gets painful after a bit. that placement is my main complaint and why I'm taking a star away because there's nothing I can do to make the plastic piece sit elsewhere. noise level depends on your dryer, but it doesn’t make anything louder or weird. color looks fine and matches the listing.

Once attached, it turns your regular dryer into a gentle, even-heat hooded dryer, offering a more professional feel than a typical setup. Hooded dryers are effective for even heat distribution and reducing frizz, helping curls dry more evenly compared to traditional dryers that apply direct heat. What I really love about this attachment is its comfort and adjustability. The large cap fits my head well, and the adjustable strap provides a secure fit, even for my thick hair. I have seen this before and have been wanting to try it out so I was excited to finally have a chance to see if it was worth all the hype. When it arrived, I noticed it was lightweight and reminded me of a wind breaker type of material. The stitching was good and also liked that it came with a little bag to store it when not in use, although since I use it often, I haven’t used the bag yet. I have to be honest that it did take me a few tries to find the right groove when using it. It did take some time in figuring out how to get all my hair in it before pulling cap tight so it didn’t slide off. I also ended up having pieces still left out to tuck back in so that was another learning curve. I have medium length fine curly hair and it definately has enough room for someone with thicker or longer hair. I dried my hair on lowest speed since I did find it would not stay on my blow dryer or my head if I set it on high speed. Once I figured best way to use on my hair it has cut my drying time in half and my hair has less frizz than when I use my diffuser. It took about 20-25 minutes to completely dry my hair. One thing I will mention is that you probably won’t want to do your makeup during drying process as it does heat up your head and in return your face. I tried doing it, and well ended up looking like I just came from the gym and ended up having to reapply much of my makeup. Overall, I would say it’s a good product, and I will continue to use.
