The media could not be loaded. In my video I opened the hood first try, then I repeatedly pulled very hard on the tab to see if it would break off. It is very durable, obviously more durable than the OEM one. If yours is broken, just pull back on the plastic panels, get some cutters and cut off most of the plastic around the hood release cable, but not all the way back so it doesn’t get sucked into the car lol, then when it’s a few inches of metal cable exposed, slide on this tab and screw in the two included Alan screws, it comes with the Alan wrench aswell ... show more

Definitely the installing part took time because I didn’t have the right tools but you do have to shave off the plastic around the hood bar but after that it was easy
