This cage fit in perfect with my other furniture. It’s sturdy and looks nice. I’d suggest buying a pad for the bottom as it’s just cage and not comfortable. We have a very mild sweet dog but for a big strong dog I’m not sure I just know it’s a nice looking cage our dog fits well in.

When putting it together the wooden pegs snapped IN a part of the crate. I had to use wood glue to keep it together. The directions are less than helpful. The cage is really pretty! This dog crate was easy to put together but the back board is really thin. The rest of it is quite sturdy but a rowdy dog will bust that rear board in no time. The sliding locks don't require you to lift and slide, they just slide freely which makes it easy to open the doors (for both humans and dogs).     • The bottom of crate is wire which I do like for my dog..

I must have missed the part that explained the bottom of crate is wire and tray is under the wire. So dog is one wire which is unsafe. My husband had it together so I am keeping it and putting a heavy duty Matt for dogs paws to be safe/

Some of the pre-drilled holes didn't line up when I assembled it. Luckily, it wasn't anything that prevented stability. Overall, I'm very happy with the look and functionality for the price.

Screws do not thread at all. I have spent over 2 hours trying to thread the provided screws. I can't rate anything else because I may never get it constructed. Only one screw has actually gone in. I'm beyond frustrated. I have built many things so its not lack of experience **Update. Received replacement unit with appropriate threading. After construction, it is very nice unit. However, it was still not super easy to build. Smaller than I thought and wouldn't hold a large taller dog. ... show more

    • Bottom slider is too small.

If your animal takes a poop near an edge, the bottom slider won’t catch it. It’s too small for the kennel. Other than that it’s nice looking. Just hope I don’t regret the purchase.
