Just replacing the older Honeywell fan I've been running for close to 5 years and was expecting an identical model, but this actually seems to be an evolution of the design. Same size, but this version has a more aggressive blade pitch and the prop is actually pretty well balanced, minimal vibration and chatter from the shaft while maintaining a higher RPM than I'd expect with cheapo fans. The air stream is almost tangible so this thing is great for bedtime fan, and is just noisy enough for bedtime fan. The effort that has gone into the engineering is impressive honestly. Personal fans are just a blade, cage, AC motor, and as long as the whirly bit spins and makes windy, everyone is happy. But the chassis of this fan effectively acts as a duct and with this particular configuration of blade geometry and RPM, it puts out way more wind than it looks like it should. Someone over at Honeywell takes fans very seriously. Best flippin $16 you can spend. ... show more

After opting for a replacement fan I updated my 3 star review to a full 5 stars. This fan is reasonably quiet. It's not fully silent, but it doesn't overpower my headphones when gaming like the first one did. A good purchase for a small fan. (Previous review:) I purchased this fan based on articles stating it was quiet and powerful. I can say it is powerful, but quiet it is not. The motor was loud even on low speed. The air movement was great, it was able to circulate very efficiently. I had no issue feeling it at a decent distance on all speed settings. When I purchased this back in May 2021, I thought I hit the jackpot with this fan. It was strong, very quiet, and kinda indestructible which was awesome! In 2022 it still worked, but it wasn't nearly as strong as the previous year. Now in 2023, this fan has a mind of its own. When it was on high, you could feel it from 10-15 feet away, and it was still super quiet. Now, it stops on its own and I'm right next to it, not even 2 ft away from it, and the most powerful force that was on high Now feels less than the lightest. If you need a fan to get you through a season of scorching hot weather, this is your guy! It worked amazing! Maybe the strength just puckered out bc I always had it on! Ahhhh... I used the model # from my old Honeywell Turbo Fan and looked it up on Amazon. Why did I just tell you that. Over a 12 year period 3 houses and two states, this model ran for 12 years straight. Love this fan! I bought two, then ordered a third one. The price is just right, affordable and good value. I live in the tropics, and usually my house stays cool. I have an AC, but electricity is expensive here, so I only use it during heat waves. I used the big floor fans, but seldom did one of them last longer than two years, and I had to move them around when I was cleaning. My little fan sits on my nightstand by my bed and keeps me cool all night. When it gets really hot, I turn on two of them from different sides. I am very happy with them and recommend them highly. Moves a lot of air for such a little fan. Circulates well, quiet (I hate fan noise) 😒 and super light and easy to move. Like that it tilts up or down and has a variety of speeds. Seems pretty sturdy. My freind liked it so much I got him one for his birthday.

If your AC goes out and you need to cool yourself I recommend this fan with a pan of water with ice in front of it. This little fan packs a punch and I can direct it to not be in my eyes when sleeping at night. Highly recommend.
