    • Odd smell on delivery
Pretty decent. Had a really odd "fishy" smell when it arrived, so I had to let it air out for a couple days, but now it is fine. I removed the "freezer" section to just use it as one large fridge and it works pretty decent

I ordered this refrigerator to have for my outdoor kitchen area. The refrigerator arrives well protected in its packaging. The controls are very easy to use in order to set the temperature. You have a smaller compartment for a freezer area which was able to freeze an ice tray and keep it frozen. The refrigerator compartment was about right on target with the temperature setting staying within +/- 2 degrees. The door provides a cool can holder on the inside and holds up to 8 cans. There are also shelves provided inside to help organize the product placed in the unit. In all this is comparable to a standard mini fridge and works very well. The brand labeling on my unit is placed in the wrong location from the standard location this brand usually places their label at. Other than that, it functions as it should but is a little on the pricey side of the compact refrigerator category. ... show more

This is a 3.3 cubic feet mini fridge with small internal freezer section by a known name brand: Honeywell. This is a nice mini fridge and I’ve been very happy with it having it thus far for about a week or two now. I hope to explain why I like this mini fridge in this review and hopefully it helps you in making a decision if you’re thinking of buying this. First, what does the fridge do right? It certainly does shine in what it’s supposed to do: keep things cold! No issues there whatsoever. I’ve been using this fridge for about a week or two now and it went from the warm cardboard box to fully cold in about a 24 hour timeframe. The cord terminates in a fully grounded three-pronged plug and is about three feet in length. The door is reversible with simple tools should you need it to swing open in the opposite direction it comes installed. I did not need to reverse the door so I cannot speak to how easy that is to do but it seemed fairly straight forward from the well written instructions. If you want or need a small freezer section then you’ll be pleased to know that there is indeed a small freezer section in the unit as well. There are many small shelves included and the bottom shelf allows for a slightly different configuration for your storage needs. If you put the shelf on the upper slot it will allow you to put tall cans underneath the shelf and enough storage space to fit standard sized cans on all three shelves. If you put the shelf on the lower slot you’ll give yourself a bit more storage space for food items minus the small hump caused by the compressor and other parts hidden around back. Speaking of the working parts the whole unit is very quiet. Every once in a while you’ll hear the compressor kick on but it’s almost unnoticeable; really nothing at all. There is one knob on the inside of the unit for the temperature control. I have it set just past mid-range and it’s very cold inside the fridge. If you think of a clock face and one o’clock is basically off, and eleven o’clock is the coldest setting, midrange would be six o’clock. I have the dial set about a six thirty or seven o’clock and it keeps everything very nice and cold. Everything in that prior paragraph sounds great, so is there anything I don’t like? Really not much, but I’ll start with something I mentioned as a plus; the freezer section. I can do without that freezer. I am honestly not sure if there are mini refrigerators that don’t offer a freezer section but I wish there were if not. I understand why it’s there and I’m sure it comes in very handy for storing a small bag of pizza rolls and a box of egg rolls for your dorm room or apartment. However, I am living in neither and would love a bit more cubic footage of storage space if it were not included. Thus far I have not used the freezer section for anything more than keeping my gin icy cold and I can attest it does just that! I do not have any typical 12oz beers in glass bottles so I cannot speak to whether or not they would fit in here on the lower shelves but I’m inclined to think they would not. Of course you could always lay them down as I have done with water bottles as shown in my picture. There is really nothing I don’t like about this mini fridge to be honest! It’s a typical color but handsome none the less. The only thing I had to “do” to the fridge was raise one of the feet by unwinding it as it was designed to do to so as to level it out on my floor. I also put some rubber padding under the feet so it doesn’t slide on my hard wood floor when I open the door. All summed up this is a very nice fridge as my original headline stated. I truly can’t think of anything that would make me not recommend this mini fridge for you. Of course if you want a cool glass door or something slightly larger you’ll have to look elsewhere. However, if I did a decent enough job describing this particular fridge, I can confidently recommend this to you. I really hope this review was helpful to you in making a decision. This Honeywell 3.3 Cu Ft. mini fridge works great, and the size is well suited for personal use in an office/dorm, or as a supplementary refrigerator in one’s home (game room/loft/patio/pool house/bar/etc…). I’m using it in my makeshift kitchen during our kitchen renovation, and will repurpose it when our remodel is complete. The manual includes instructions for reversing the door swing, but I did not need to reverse mine, so I can’t speak to that. It does have 3 removable wire shelves, but only the bottom shelf is adjustable, and only by a couple inches. Inside the door is an integrated 12oz can dispenser (holds 8 cans) as well as space for larger bottles/cartons (juice/milk/etc…), and a couple of additional shelves (for condiments/drinks/etc…). There is a small freezer compartment at the top, but the freezer space is extremely limited. That said, I was able to fit 5 frozen breakfast sandwiches, 4 ice cream bars, and one frozen burrito (see photo). The refrigerator functions as expected. It only took a couple of hours to completely cool after plugging it in for the first time, and it’s virtually silent. Unfortunately, it falls short in some areas. It’s light weight, which is great when you need to move it around, but every time I open the door, the entire refrigerator wants to pulls away from the wall. The manual indicates that both front feet are adjustable, but I was only able to adjust the right side. It uses wire shelves instead of glass, so it can’t contain spills. And, it’s expensive. Other major appliance brands offer the same size refrigerator for $50 - $100 less, and if you catch them on sale, they can be as low as ½ the price of this one (based on current Amazon price of $290). At this price, I expect features that set it apart from competitors, but that’s not the case here. There is no interior lighting, no drawers, or any other features that justify its higher cost.
