I got this to use with my laser printer. It fit my laser printer just fine. I had been using the printer on an old beat up piece of furniture on my three season porch, but that meant that I had to choose between using it on a cold unheated porch or skip using it for the winter. I'm in the process of building a laser cutter, so this hasn't been put into use yet but there are a few pros and cons worth pointing out. (All of the cons are easily resolvable). First off, this can be used right out of the box for most applications (though I wouldn't use the aluminum plate with it right out of the box for reasons I will point out below. Pros: 1. Bed itself is well made and sturdy enough 2. The included aluminum plate is a nice addition, and those are fairly costly if you head down to the local hardware and try to pick one up so it saves you some more money on top of the already economical cost of this. 3. corner protectors are nice for casual use if you are going to be moving it around a lot. Cons: 1. Doesn't sit flat with the corner protectors, if you are looking to maintain precise focus across the surface this will be an issue. 2. Aluminum plate provides a specular reflection back into the laser when operating, this is not good for your laser or power monitoring. 3. The included markings are a nice thought, but not thought out. It is inches up and down the sides and cm across the bottom. To make these actually useful for setups you need a perpendicular axis. This is one area where I would recommend the manufacture make a change in the next batch produced. inches along the right and bottom and cm along the left and top, or vice versa. Simple improvements to make this a great bed: 1. Spray paint the aluminum plate with a color not well absorbed by the wavelength you plan on using in your machine - this turns the specular back reflection into a diffuse one. 2. Screw the plate to a flat piece of MDF or otherwise flat surface, take of the corner protectors and attach the honeycomb bed to the plate so it is as flat as you can get it, shim if necessary - you really want a flat surface unless you want to map every piece and use software to correct for it. 3. If the scales are important to you, mask and paint the edges of the plate in a color that is well absorbed by the laser you are using, then use your laser to create scales of your liking. All in all a high value product that could use a few tweaks, but most of us enjoy tweaking our tools as much as using them so definitely a product I would still recommend in this price range! ... show more

This works well on a 3018 pro, but there are some minor problems that should be realized and addressed. The aluminum backing panel acts as a reflector, which you do not want. You need to paint this to reduce / eliminate reflection from the laser. The corners make this wobbly, so you might want to consider mounting this to a stabilized backboard, made of mdf. I use this with a 5.5 watt laser and it does well. I will give it 4 stars (actually, I’d give it 4.5 if I could), but with the referenced problems, that took the review down a small amount. Overall, a good product that does what it says. Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In most cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. Fit and finish is great - I don't like that it has 2 different measurement scales.. on the side is inches and on the bottom it is metic. I would think it could have metric on one side and inches on the other or all metric - either way it is odd that up one axis it is inches and the other axis it is metric. It also comes with a sheet metal plate, everything else is great and works well for a bed. I love it! ... show more

The Anoom 300x200 mm honeycomb laser bed is great for small lasers or co2 lasers. I say co2 lasers because this fits well within the lift portion. I also like that the fact the ruler portion is accurate in its measurements. Additionally the edge protectors come in handy not only protect from sharp edges but also to keep the sheet of aluminum beneath the honeycomb in place ... show more
