The media could not be loaded. Shipped quick, neatly packed, easy assembly and fit snug, needed both little wrenches to tighten the bolts. Seems strong and sturdy as I put my weight on it.

    • Lighter-weight than my other hive stand, but still holds my empty 10-frame just fine.
I won't have bees to put in the hive this is sitting on until April, so I don't know how well it'll hold a full hive with brood and honey, but it holds the empty 10-frame just fine. The stand is much lighter than the one I bought for my first hive; I'm a little worried the legs might buckle at some point, but the connection points seem secure, so I'm going to be hopeful that lightweight doesn't equal weak. Of course I will update my review if it ever collapses. ... show more

Nice and easy assembly, includes everything you need. Thin stainless steel but looks like it shouldn't be an issue (just put it outside, so time will tell if it rusts). No connection for the hive itself (at least in one direction, rails the other way should hold it laterally). Feels stable enough -- if it works well I'll be getting more since they are a good price and get it right at the height I like. ... show more
