I've used this on two separate vehicles (2005 and 2006 Saturn Vue with the 3.5 liter honda drivetrain). My first vehicle the 2005 went to 174k before it was rear ended and totaled. The Transmission never had any issues and I did the recommended drain/fills at the 100k and 150k intervals. When doing drain/fills, its recommended to do about 3-4 of them. Perform one, then drive about 100-200 miles and preform another, and so on until your fluid looks new when you drain. You will usually only get about 1/3-1/4th of the total fluid out of your transmission because a lot of it sits in your torque converter. there are ways to try and preform a flush. But drain fills are the safest and easiest way to change the fluid... They are usually recommended by the manufacturer over flushes. My newest car, the 2006, currently has 120k, and I just did the first set of drain/fills at 100k. Runs just as smooth as it ever has and I expect it to go another 150-200k if I don't get involved in another accident. Honda makes an excellent drivetrain, and with changing all your fluids as you are suppose to they seem to last forever. My local dealership was charging 2-3 times as much as getting a case through amazon. Great deal here on an authentic product. ... show more

I don't want to put generic oil into my Acura TSX. Of course, you can buy generic oil with cheaper price anywhere but Honda engineers use this oil for their engine for top performance and prolong engine life. I am happy that Amazon has this oil with fair price (in my range for this oil) so I bought a box of 12 quartz. I am not sensitive to engine shifting so technically the change is not noticeable by human. But hey, people drink filter water, bottle water and tap water everyday not notice a change too. It's my choice to make sure that my engine get the correct oil. Long term matters. My engine is still excellent at 150k miles. ... show more

At the 60k mile service, my mechanic informed me that someone drives like she stole the CRV. The shifting is still just as smooth, sure, and precise as it was new at 160k miles. Since that first scheduled transmission service, I've done a single drain/fill every 12-15k miles or once a year. It keeps the fluid in consistently good condition. Honda made transmissions easy to service at home. So just buy the case, keep it on hand. Don't give yourself an excuse to not do it. ... show more
