I'm on the fence about these. I read a bunch of reviews before purchasing. They came folded and I can't get the creases out completely. The ones at center look better as time go by, but the creases that were near the seams are sharp and haven't softened. Flat-pack shipping would solve some of this. As for the odor some mention? Mine did arrive with an odor that after more than a week has not gone away. I mostly notice it when the pillow compresses - it seems to come from the inside. The lining, perhaps? I may try to turn them inside out to air them that way and see if it makes a difference because ... blech! It smells gross. I put 20x20 pillow inserts inside and they do not fill the 18x18 covers. The corners are conspicuously empty looking and fold under. I've tried two different brands/types of inserts (polyfill & down), and neither gives the full look I get with my other pillow covers. I have some 22x22 inserts I haven't tried yet, but I'm concerned these covers won't zip with that size insert. (I'm also somewhat concerned the disgusting odor will get into the inserts, whatever the size.) They do get really compressed/squished/flat if you lay against them and take a while to floof back up. I'm leaving the zipper open just slightly - that seems to speed up the process. In summary: If yours arrive odor-free and you can get the wrinkles out ... they LOOK great, stylish, and the color is true. They seem well-made and I do think they will hold up over time. Considering the issues as described above, I'm debating on returning them. ... show more
