I read the reviews about the oven not keeping the set temperature and they are correct! If you set the oven to 350, it might reach it once but then the temp will drop almost 20 degrees and work it’s way back up to 347. I tried 300 degrees and it does the same. Setting it to 355 will ultimately get you to 350ish but the temp rises and falls from 330ish to 350ish. I would never pay full price for this oven. I got it as a return. If temperature is important (like making a soufflé) you don’t want this oven.

When replacing the odd-shaped wall oven in our house built in the 70s, I ended up doing a ton of research to find something that would fit and helped toward the more modern look we were going for, while trying to keep the price tag under $500. I was hesitant on purchasing this oven because of the lack of reviews and I didn't know much of anything about the Hyaki brand. I have been pleasantly surprised with the amount of function this oven provides, especially cooking with convection, and it really looks great with the rest of our new black/stainless steel appliances. My only complaint is that it seems to take longer than I would guess for a modern oven to reach 400°+. That said, we've cooked with it probably 3-4 times a week for the last 4 months and I'd trade the ridiculous price for other name brand wall ovens for waiting a few more minutes for the oven to warm up in a heartbeat. A couple random notes: The LEDs on the display are red, which is slightly weird given most I've seen are green. But, I really don't care. Also, the clock only seems to function in military time, which is also something we don't really care about but figured it was worth noting.

We only used this oven a few times. The problems we are having may have a simple solution. Those problems are failure of the oven to hold the set temperature. We intend to contact the supplier for guidance.

The instruction manual explained almost nothing regarding the working of the oven. I have never had an oven with convection capabilities before, and I am finding it difficult to use on the regular oven setting. Temperature keeps fluctuating to a great degree. May be returning it.

Beautiful oven, solid feel, convection, easy clean bottom and walls as bottom heater is below surface allowing unobstructed cleaning of ceramic surface. Great customer service as they accommodated me several times. Give them time to respond as they are getting established in a new venture. Price less than half of local market as it is a specialized item and local vendors know it. You have nothing to lose as they will take it back if not satisfied.

The installation of this oven needs a special breaker outside the house. This was very expensive and needed a city inspection. However, it is not the main problem. The main problem is that the cooking grid and sheet are not stable because they are not at the right dimensions! This is dangerous and can cause damage! I bought it last July but did not use it until the holidays ! This company is to be sued for dangerous material ! I had read this in the comments before me I did not consider it . I should have !

Oven looks good and pretty easy to use. It does seem that the temperature does not remain constant at the temperature set. I have used it only a few times and think it will probably work ok once broken in and I get more used to settings.

Overall for the price I am happy. Nice looking. It just took awhile to figure out I have to increase the temp. quite a bit in order to get things cooked!
