  • Good quality and great customer service! Good quality and great customer service!
Size: 48.0"L - 2 Tiers - 1P
Great product and at a very reasonable price. Very easy to set up and essentially comes with everything to do so. Very sturdy and nicely engineered. I originally purchase the 48” heavy duty 2-tier stackable cages but realized the size was too big and didn’t offer the kennel divider. I spoke with customer service in regards to this problem and it was resolved in a timely manner and correcting the fault on my behalf. If you have a pet that has anxiety or breaks through their current enclosure I suggest you give Homey Pet a try. If you go online to their website they have more options that will suit any pet of any size. I look forward to giving them more business in the near future. ... show more

  • Will definitely keep my super smart Husky in when I am gone. Gonna buy another for my other pets.
Size: 47.0"L x 29.0"W x 35.0"H
Very high quality, the highest. Rolls very nicely. The castors are perfect and will make it easy to roll my husky's kennel around. The tray is under thickly coated metal bars so your husky or other dog can't destroy their tray. Also there are really nice stainless bowls inside to hold food and water and they are easy to get food and water out of, my husky seems to like them. I just threw in one of the indestructible shaggy fake lamb pads for comfort and my dog is set, he can no longer figure out how to escape. It will definitely make rolling the kennel around much easier. No more scratched up doors. Very good wheel locks. Wow this this is amazing. I would call it the Rolls Royce of Kennels. Plus if you want to buy the stackable one you can stack it. It's much much better than expected. The top opens but I won't show my dog that because he will figure out how to open it. It has two locking mechanisms instead of one. Perfection. Don't hesitate. ... show more

  • Great Quality and Fantastic Customer Service
I have 2 small dogs, 8 and 10 lbs, 1 that has terrible separation anxiety. I ordered this crate to be able to have them next to each other but separated to avoid any issues with the anxious one getting on the calm one's nerves. First problem was I realized I ordered the triple set of crates instead of just one. Not sure how I did that but between all the research and seeing all the same pictures on the site I was a little confused. I messaged the company about it through the Amazon App and got an immediate reply confirming I did order 3 crates. I explained what I wanted and they offered to submit a recall for the other 2 crates and deduct that cost from my refund or deliver the crates and I send them back and pay for the shipping. Well I researched both options and again messaged the seller and got another fast reply about how much it would cost to issue the recall - it was WAY cheaper than I could have gotten trying to ship them back myself, not to mention the hassle of 2 large heavy boxes. I was afraid I would get the wrong one delivered, but they got it right and the one I wanted was delivered without issue. The crate arrived in excellent shape although one bar in the front was bent - a little disappointing but not terrible. It took 2 of us about 20 - 30 minutes to put together - The directions could definitely use some improvement - they are not that easy to understand - you can figure it out, but it just takes a bit longer since the instructions are very minimal. I've had my dogs in the crate during the day for several days now. The anxious one, who has chewed the bars off of 3 previous crates and was able to get another crate's door latch open, has been safely contained! The ONLY problem is that he figured out how to slide the middle divider out. I messaged the company and again got an instant reply - they do not have a way to secure the divider but suggested I try zip ties which I will although the dogs seem to be fine together - I just slide the divider in when they eat for now. My only other challenge is how to be able to get this over to my pet sitters house when I'm out of town - not being collapsible does give it the added strength I need so I guess I will get pretty good at taking it apart, at least some of the way and putting it back together. Several features that are particularly helpful: The bowl stands - you can easily take them out, change the location, etc. the feeding door is also handy without leaving any holes or anything for the dog to chew on or try to weaken / use to try and get out. Overall very happy with the product and super happy with the customer service. The slide out tray beneath the metal cage bottom - makes cleaning up after the dog way easier. Keeps the living area of the crate cleaner and more sanitary. The carabiner clips that are included for the door latches - a very helpful detail that I think many companies would decide to do without. I really like the divider, one of the reasons I chose this crate, but do wish there was some way to secure it in an official way / using the same hardware that you put the rest of the crate together with. All around good value for the money and the customer service exceeded my expectations. ... show more

  • Love these! Well worth the expense.
I love these crates. I use them for my Angora rabbits. They are heavy duty without a doubt. I love that I can stack them or as singles. The dividers are perfect and fit in nicely. There is no worry that the dividers will move out of place. There is plenty of room and each section can be fitted to an additional section for litters of bunnies that I have. An added bonus is the ability to open the doors in the front or the entire top will open. This give me room to reach into the top and select the bunny I need without having to reach way in the back to get one that doesn't want to be picked up. These will last a lifetime. The down side using them for bunnies is the cleaning ability. For dogs , they would work like a dream for a kennel or grooming business. The trays come out easily for cleaning and fit nicely. They are the perfect thickness. They are easy to assemble as well and very cost affordable. ... show more

  • Good Product Overall
Size: 43.0"L x 28.0"W x 29.0"H
Assembly would be easy with 2 people, but for a single individual, not so much. Also, sure doesn't help that the cross bars come with the screws already in them, meaning you have to remove them all just to put them back in when you put bars in place. All other hardware is included in a sealed bag. Why not just include these in that back so buyer doesn't have to disassemble to re-assemble. Otherwise, everything fit together tightly and whole thing is very sturdy. Already planning to buy a second one, but will be sure I have help to assemble it next time. ... show more

  • Really Solid Crates At This Price
Size: 37"L x 22.5"W x 29.5"H - 3 Tiers - 2 Pack
These comments are for everyone, but especially dog people—groomers, exhibitors, rescues, fosters and the like—the kind of folks who are going to really use their crates day in and day out. I bought several of these Homey Pet crates recently. I have tried pretty much every crating arrangement out there over the years. My dream purchase would have been a wall bank from Shor-Line, but that was just financially out of the question. I looked at a ton of options before cautiously taking a chance on these Homey Pet crates. I was most concerned with safety. I read all the reviews. I finally ordered them. First, they’re heavy! They are much more substantial than I was expecting. If you are familiar with regular wire crates or puppy pens, these are much beefier. The hammered coating on them is nice too. It’s easy to wipe clean and time will tell how well it holds up to water and urine. These crates are individually about the size of a conventional 300 wire crate. I put these together myself over two days. For reference, I’m your average female retiree. (Two people with coffee could easily put them all together in one go.) I will say to equip yourself beforehand with a good set of screwdrivers or a cordless drill…the manufacturers thoughtfully include a little wrench and screwdriver—but trust me on this one. Go bigger. Your sanity and hands will thank you. Assembly is very straightforward and uncomplicated…I just went slow and steady. By the last crate I had assembly down to under 30 minutes. No missing parts, and in fact the manufacturer includes extra screws. I found I did have a couple of crates where I had stacking issues, and the intended screws just would not go in correctly; I used the next smaller size of screw instead and that worked fine. But overall, I didn’t have any bent wires or overt difficulties putting these together, which, yay! The wheels are rather small and not the sturdiest. They do lock. I will be moving these crates often to vacuum and mop, so I hope they hold up. I’m not a big fan of the single locking mechanism on the door. It’s meant to be a dogproof safety measure, which I appreciate, but I find it a little difficult—and unless you look closely, you can’t tell if it’s open or secured at first glance. I would have preferred a double latch closure. The grates are a nice size for most medium-to-smaller-dog paws. I have beds covering mine but if feet do get underneath, the diameter and spacing are okay. One thing I don’t like: the two grate pieces are secured via two screws with plastic knobs on them that pass through from the exterior of the crate. If you even modestly secure the grates with the screws (to prevent their movement or removal by a dog), it creates a toe-sized gap between the crate and the grate, both of which are unyielding metal. If you have ever had a suddenly-panicked dog with a trapped toe, you know what I’m talking about. I -really- hope this doesn’t happen here. I’ll update if it does. Another word about those plastic-knob screws. The crates can be opened from the top, and the top lid is secured by two little sharp metal wingnut-type screws. I hate them and don’t understand why the crates don’t come with more plastic-knob screws for the crate top, which would be much less dangerous (at either dog or human-eye-level) and easier to use. I have already replaced all mine. The crates are very nice-looking. They also have, to my surprise, better plastic crate pans than average. I was expecting thin, flimsy pans. These aren’t. I do wonder about the possibility of being able to replace any grates and pans if needed in the future: I really hope that’s going to be doable. The crates seem like they won’t be too hard to keep clean. The grates are easily removed for washing and they aren’t too big or awkward. So far I’m pleasantly surprised and impressed with this purchase. I hope the crates hold up going forward, and that buyers can get replacement parts if they need them…and the jury is still out on the gap between the grates and the crate. Ditch the wingnut-type screws if you have them. A solid purchase so far. Stay tuned. ... show more
