This is a great storage bench! Good quality. Plenty of storage area and sturdy and comfortable to sit on. It was a little bit of a struggle to put together but luckily I’m pretty handy and was able to get it together without damaging anything.

The Ottoman is very hard to put together, mostly because the pieces do not line up properly. You have to force everything together which is very difficult. Even after doing so they still don’t quite fit right.. It’s still not bad & serves the purpose.

The upholstery is pretty thin on this. The fabric was such that we felt it would take on stains easily and not stand up to our dog who likes to lay on the piece this was to replace. The pieces were also not aligned well in preassembly, leaving some minor gaps between the sides and bottom. We just weren't pleased with the overall quality for this price. Half the pieces didn’t align properly and the other half didn’t have pre-drilled holes. Assembly is frustrating at best. It doesn’t look terrible once assembled, but not great either. Seems sturdy enough to sit on while putting shoes on. I wouldn’t recommend this ottoman, even on sale.
