I had been looking for a storage ottoman to use in my closet as a seat while putting my shoes on and taking them off. I came across an almost identical ottoman for way more money at a major big-name store and was rather surprised when I found the exact same piece here on Amazon for way less. (Literally, the brand is identical as I saw on the box). First off, the tan velvet is so soft and looks expensive. It is well-sewn with no visible threads or mis-matches. It was super easy to assemble by just screwing in the small legs. And lastly, THE STORAGE! This ottoman can hold a lot. I put a few things in on the pictures to give an idea. If I were putting beanies, muffs and gloves in - it could probably hold at least 30-40. When I put in some large wraps, I'd estimate it would hold about 15-20 (depending upon how densely packed). I also like that with the legs, the ottoman stands 18 inches high so it is a nice height to sit on. Some of the others I have seen are much shorter - so this could be a consideration for you. This is a very nice piece of furniture. I got this to prop my feet up & put skeins of yarn into it for the most current crochet project that I am working on. It is not to small & not to big. It has 3 legs that screw on but it is just the right weight. It doesn't tip over easily when pushing it out of the way with my foot. It is not real soft on top but it is perfect for me to put my feet up while sitting in the chair to watch TV or just crocheting. I would recommend this ottoman. I got the dark gray for our living room & it was so cute, perfect size, well made AND cats don’t claw it because velvet doesn’t do it for them (the reason I found a velvet one!) However, the color didn’t do it for ME, so I put it in my husband’s home office where it looks great & purchased a second one in LIGHT gray this time for the living room & it’s just right. Awesome product! Exact color that was specified in the photo, beautify craftsmanship, sturdy quality and build, and very soft and durable material used! This ottoman was extremely easy to put together, all I had to do was twist on the wooden legs, and BOOM done!
