When I saw these with the fairy lights, my mind was finally made up, as also had wanted fairy lights for a long time, and finally found a place to put them. I got them in gold, which is a warm, relaxing color. I saw another set just like this for double the price, so this price is definitely a deal! I prefer to use the steady light, rather than all the options for blinking, etc. Placed two by the fireplace, one in the bedroom. I also purchased a rechargeable battery set w/charger, so I could have these on 12 or so hours out of everyday without guilt of using up a lot of batteries! What I like is that they definitely won't take Up much room. I expected the flameless candle at the bottom of the plastic tube would have been lit as well with a flame. But it's not it's the twinkle string lights That are watered up and stuff down into the plastic tube chimney. Beautiful in the catalog. The remote works great. The timer works good. I just thought these would be a little heavier in weight. So if you use his outside make sure it's not a windy day. There are cute little novelty I bought four sets of these. I'm just trying to figure out who I can wrap them up and give Is out for christmas. I have a seven year old granddaughter who might like them in her room. And there's safe enough for her to use in her room without adult supervision. Or if they were placed on a fire mantle they might look okay. I think it just depends on how you arrange them. They have potential. My price point is they should Have been nine dollars and ninety nine cents. Three candles come in one box. Don't get me wrong, they're okay. It's just not what I thought. I was Getting a little more for $20 plus tax. One more thing when they say the lights are embedded in the candles. They are not. There are nothing like what the pitchers on the catalog is. There are a string of twinkle lights In a wad Stuffed down in the chimney towards the T e a. Light that looks like it's lit with a wick but it's not. But now I know and so should you. These candles are gorgeous! I use rechargeable batteries, so no issue there. I love that these have a remote with a dimmable feature and different transition modes for the lights. My favorite part is the smoky gray cylinder which makes the lighting look really elegant. I have some just sitting in a vanity tray, but also put the smallest sized ones in three vintage gray lanterns and hung them on the matching lantern stand. The light effect is mesmerizing.
