These candles are exactly as advertised and I have been using them as window candles ever since I got them using the timer feature, set with flickering flame on medium brightness. They have worked perfectly and the candleholder shape makes them fit nicely close to the window. I think I've used them for about a month and so far they are still on the initial AAA batteries. These are a very nice flameless candle. The remote is very convenient, it's easy to use and has a great selection of settings from bright to dim, and the flicker choice is nice, too. The color gives a feeling of warmth and makes for a nice glow. The battery life has been great so far. They are usually on for 3-4 hours or longer most nights and they haven't been changed yet, (which has been about a month or so). The reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price is a little high in my opinion as you still need to pay for candle holders for each candle. If the price was $12-15 that would be much more realistic for the six-piece set. But if you're in the market for flameless candles, I would recommend trying these as they do seem like a nice quality with some great conveniences. ... show more

I wasn’t sure about this product, but I’m -leased to say these candles are really nice! They look very natural when lit. I’ll be replacing all my taper candles with these! I love the look of tapered candles, but once lit they no longer look nice, and reusing them for a nice function is out. I end up with a drawer full of candles I no longer use. Not now! ... show more

Gorgeous and easy to control with the remote! You can set a timer and also if you want the cancels to flicker or stay constant. A great option for those who don’t want the mess or safety risk of real candles - especially those like me who have small kids! I paired them with taper candle holders. I loveee these candles! They look so amazing and have been a staple at our home for two years now. I have to use them not too much though because they will run the batteries low. But I don’t mind that because it’s worth it. Also used them at my wedding!

Pretty but not reliable one candle at first would not turn on at all and then would not turn off at all unless you remove the batteries
