I have a full size bed which is perfect for one elderly lady. This little twin size blanket completely covers the top of the full size bed. It's a perfect size, the controls ae easy , it's soft and thin - in other words perfect for the mountains even in warm weather. Some customers said they thought it heated up too slow, but I don't find that to be true with mine. It heats up very fast. I like that it's thin for the summer months. For me it's a perfect heated blanket.

I absolutely love heated blankets and I know how crazy it sounds but I use mine during the summer as well for my muscles. I also love that they have a king size as well it’s really big and covers my whole bed. It wasn’t super expensive like some either which is amazing. My only complaint is that my dog bit the cord so half the blanket doesn’t work (not the companies fault) I just wish they listed a way to get a replacement cord. I can’t find anything

UPDATE after 2.5 months using this electric blanket: OK, this blanket quit working. I should have listened to all the other people who reported the same thing. UPDATE after two months using this electric blanket: This blanket TAKES A LONG TIME TO HEAT UP, so you should go in and turn it on at least a half hour before you want to go to bed. This blanket also is NOT VERY WARM AT THE HIGHEST SETTING.. The temp is ok for sleeping, but if you were hoping for a nice warm bed when you first get in, this is not the blanket for that. I have to snuggle the blanket from feet to shoulders to get any warmth at first. I thought this blanket was good when I first got it, but sometimes I wonder if it's even heating up and have been thinking of getting a better electric blanket. ---------------------------------------------- This is a nice blanket. Well-made. I like how soft it is, with the heating wires not apparent. It takes a few minutes to heat up, so I go in 15 or so minutes before bedtime to turn it on so it's nice and toasty when I get under it. The only thing I don't love is that the cord comes out at the foot of the blanket, while the controls need to be close at hand. So from the plug in the wall, which is behind the headboard, the exposed cord runs from the foot of the blanket back up to the controller, and my foot can gets snagged in the cord. If I had the blanket plugged into the wall closest to the foot of the bed, the cord would have to run across a walkway. I'm happy with this blanket though, which I've had for about a month. I especially like it because using central heating is far too expensive - for me and the environment - and takes far too long to heat the larger rooms.
