This electric blanket has been really handy. Living in an older house the heating isn't always the most dependable nor consistent through the house. Using the electric blanket gives quick comfort even on the cold days. This electric blanket has a gray color on one side with a fleecy white on the bottom. The fleecy fabric is comfortable and feels really nice on the warm blanket. The heat wire reaches about 8" from the edges of the blanket. I think that spacing works well as the edges will drape more easily over you while the majority of the blanket is heating up. The electric cord can be unplugged from the blanket. There's a three wire connector that is keyed so that you can't plug it in upside down. It's not difficult to remove the cord but it's not too easy that the cord is falling out either. It feels correct and right to me. The controller is easy to use. With three buttons there's a power button, a temp button, and a time button. Like you expect, you turn it on with power and then can adjust the heat setting and time by using the temp and time buttons. Temperature has 10 settings with the lowest being L, the highest H, and 2-9 in-between.

This blanket instantly became my favorite spot in the house. The faux fur side is thick and soft, and the sherpa backing makes it feel cozy even when it is not plugged in. Honestly, it is warmer than some of my regular throws without any heat at all. Once I turned it on, though, it went from cozy to downright luxurious. The heat spreads evenly, and you do not feel those stiff wires like with older heated blankets. It just feels like a warm hug. The controls are simple, which I really appreciate. One button cycles through the heat levels, and it even has timers so I can set it before bed and not worry about waking up too hot. I have used it on the couch, in bed, and even dragged it into my home office on chilly mornings thanks to the long cord. It also feels really sturdy, not flimsy like some throws. The fact that it is UL tested and has automatic shut off gives me peace of mind, especially since I tend to doze off wrapped in it. This is a very cozy and fluffy blanket with great heat control and I do like that it has a timer but I frequently have to unplug and plug it back in as it displays an error code from time to time. The heat is evenly distributed and it’s very cozy with a long cord. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn’t frequently display the error code. It’s a nice blanket overall

They sent me the wrong color, wanted dark grey sent light grey.. it was okay though bc it was still pretty.. any color wld be beautiful i believe! ..you can feel the wires a bit, but not uncomfortably..it’s still soft, comfy and well crafted!

Seriously have zero complaints about this blanket. It is fleece on the backside and and suede on the other side it feels so luxurious and soft. No shedding the length is great and fit my Queen size bed. Just the right amount of thickness. It has a long cord I am able to run it from the foot of my bed underneath to the headboard (outlet)where no one can see the cord. Really does last 1 to 8 hours depending on how long you set the timer also has 8 adjustable temperatures.
