This is a delightful blanket. It is the warmest blanket I have ever owned. It has 10 heat settings. I only need 2 to 3 to be warm and toasty. Even without the heat on at all, it is warm and comfortable. The only concern I had was the extreme warnings about what you can use this blanket on. In the manual, it tells you not to use it on just about anything you can think of to use it on. The warning is repeated on a caution tag found on the control wire. Then, just in case you failed to get the message, there is a tag sewn onto the blanket which also has the message printed on it. I think the warnings are meant to keep you from pinching the blanket wiring in any way whatsoever. But, this is not really emphasized in the ad, and I bought this as a throw to sit with in a geri chair, something I really need. I now have a firm routine for caring for my blanket, which is really just what any electric blanket would require. You know, don't get it wet, don't leave it on unattended, don't forcefully fold it up, like that. One feature I really like is the timer. This timer has several different settings, and after you pick one, the timer counts down and shows you how much time is left on your program. If you want to start over, turn it off, turn it back on, and it starts the countdown over. The controls are large, simple, and effective. The control box is mildly warm, not so much that you would burn yourself. Another thing I like is the fact that the length of the cords are very long. You can position the cord to come out at your feet, like it should be, and the control can be brought up to be near your hands at the top. The plug has a long connection length. So, this is really nice! The side of the blanket that goes next to your skin is the solid side. The patterned side is the outward side, and has the blanket tag sewn on it. Both sides are really soft and pleasing. The faux pattern is very nice! All in all, although I don't know how long this will last, I have to say this throw is very much worth the money. I would buy it again.

. . . you really get what you pay for. It is nice for the price (I paid after taxes and fees just under $30 after discount (price - 5 stars). It get's good and hot and the controller is easy to use with good control of the temperature (controller 4.5 stars). The faux fur is very nice and soft, I really like it (5 stars!!). . . BUT!! . . . Unless you like a very light blanket, you might not like this one too much. As an electric blanket it does a good job and the faux fur has a very nice feel but it's just so lite that even though it feels nice to the touch, it feels cheaply made because of the lightness (general quality - 3.5 stars). For a $30 elec. blanket it's very nice but it's really not a 5 star blanket.

I've had this blanket for a few weeks, and it's fine. The texture is nice--it's certainly the softest heated blanket I've had. It does shed a bit, so use for a cozy night in. The only complaint that I have, and it's a major one, is that the temperature is unstable. If I turn it on to 3, it gets scorching hot (to what I would call a 7 or 8) and then slowly decreases to what most people would call a 3. The problem with that is that your body is busy adjusting to that 7 or 8 heat level while the blanket slowly decreases to a 3, so by the time the blanket is done adjusting, a 3 isn't warm enough! Then you turn it up to 4, and the problem repeats itself. At this point I turn it on about ten minutes before I want it and then use it when it's already leveled out. Just an unfortunate extra step. Overall I wouldn't recommend it, although it is very soft and looks nice.

Absolutely love how soft it is, and it's true to color. The only qualm I have is that it sheds a lot. Product works well from what I can tell, but only used it one so far.
