This shaft is the original equipment down to the labels. The picture does not show that the mount for the guard is mounted on the shaft. I purchased a mount separate from the shaft. excellent product and good price.

Tried to use it on my Ryobi gas line trimmer and found that the extension cable has make ends on both sides. How in the world can that work? One end must be a female to accept the attachments.
