great for ground coffee.
I put a paper filter inside this, and rinse with hot water prior to putting the grounds in. Paper filters make healthier coffee, the experts day. Another nice thing is, if you pour too much water in, the mesh catches it. indistructable.

Works well
I have a similar pour over coffee filter with flask which is slightly tighter weave that I like to use and wanted a similar second one. This filter almost measures up and is a good second one for a quick cup of coffee.

This makes excellent coffee
We use this filter cone in our trailer, replacing our harder-to-clean French press. It produces delicious, strong coffee. We use a paper filter in it. I grind the beans pretty fine, similar texture to granulated sugar. It never slows the drip, the flow is continuous, much better than my old cone. I use the paper filter bc water is so precious when camping, and I can toss the whole thing in the trash and it breaks down. At home, we place precious used coffee filters in our compost. I made several pots of coffee at home without the paper filter, and it is similarly delicious. Note that this cone may discolor over time. It appears to be two layers of filter material and impossible to clean in between the layers. I rinse and put in dishwasher at home. If it discolors to unacceptable degree I'll soak it in a Cafiza solution. We use Cafiza on our espresso machine parts, which works miracles on coffee crud.

PURCHASE WORTH THE QUALIITY
I like that it is stainless steel. I do not need to use a paper filter. It is a high quality product and no coffee grounds seep out of it at all. I specifically bought it for making pour over coffee. I am a satisfied customer.

Great filter as long as you don’t use too fine a grind
Great for coffee, works quicker than the plastic ones. Just don’t use a very fine grind with it. When it starts getting slow, hold it over a flame to burn off the oils and it works like brand new.

Perfect eco friendly coffee.
The weird silicone handle thing always comes free when I wash it, but otherwise this makes a great cup of coffee & I really like how eco friendly it is without needed to use paper filters.
