Major issue with this product: there were no instructions of any kind inside the package, on the package, or otherwise. I had to have my phone playing nearby after Googling the item and using other reviews posted to even figure out what the pieces were, let alone try to install it. During and after installation, the product did not perform as delivered, but it's been wound so tightly that I'm afraid to try and remove it.

I had a badly sagging 4' wide gate, very difficult to open. It took about 5 minutes to install this and once I started turning the turnbuckle the gate started leveling out and would freely open. The components all look well made like they should last.
