We foster kittens and use these to line their enclosure area. We have 3 large play mats laid out on hardwood floors - - - those primarily add some padding to the play area to make the floor more comfortable for the kittens and for us while we're in the enclosure socializing them. We lay a large waterproof tarp over the mats to waterproof the entire area. The tarp isn't the most comfortable to walk or sit on though, so as the top layer, I lay these blankets on top of the tarp. Their play area is quite large but instead of just getting one or two large blankets, I purposely purchased multiples of these in smaller sizes. I purchased enough of these to cover the entire area and I overlap them by a few inches so there are no gaps. I also purchased a couple of extras as well. When there's a spill or accident, all I need to do is remove one of these instead of tearing the entire play area apart. I bought spares so I can just remove the soiled one and replace it right away without having to wait while the soiled one is being laundered. Important to note is that although these are described as waterproof, this doesn't mean that liquids will just bead up on top of the blanket. When a spill/accident happens, the top layer absorbs the liquid but I think there must be a layer inside the blanket prevents the liquid from seeping all the way through. The top layer does seem to be coated with a water repellant finish. A little bit of liquid will bead up for several seconds before being absorbed into that top layer. If you catch a spill quickly, this gives you a small window of time to quickly wipe it up. So far, I have not yet had any spill large enough to ever soak completely through. If it's just a water spill I just leave the blanket to dry in place. If it's a food or bathroom mess, because it does penetrate through the top layer, I launder the entire blanket. As an added precaution, in the area around their feeding station and around the litter box, I lay pee pee pads under these as well. Notes: - haven't yet had a small spill or accident soak through to the tarp underneath, but when the kittens flipped their entire water bowl over, a bit of water did seep through to the pee-pad underneath - - - I think it wicked through on the edge binding b/c the moist areas were only near/around the edges. - This is not reversible as one side is quilted and there are non-skid (adorable) paw print pads on the other. Even though that limits use to just one side, I love the non-skid aspect because it keeps the blankets in place. Before finding these, I bought another version that's completely reversable. I like these on the floor so I am now using those on the sofa. - they're attractive and feel nice underfoot. Before finding these, I just had the tarp laid out over the padded play mats. This served its purpose, but the plastic tarp didn't feel all that comfortable when we sat in their play area with them. These blankets feel nice to sit on and add warmth and coziness too. - I was a little worried about little kitten claws snagging on the stitching, but after a couple of months of use and washings, there are no snags that I can see. - They wash well and dry quickly either on the line or on a light dryer setting. We've washed/dried these many, many times already and so far there are no signs of fraying, raveling or shrinkage. Humans and kittens all love these.

Overall a great product that is great for dog owners to protect couches. My dog enjoys it and has no issues laying on it. Great looking and protects the couch very well. Only issue is the measurement is a tad off but still functions great. Comfortable for my dog and color is as shown providing great looks and value.

I ordered it for the times when I leave my 4 legged angels at home alone. The fabric is fantastic. Super soft with even a little bit of padding, on the top side. The bottom has the feel of some kind of liquid protection fabric. It lays on the couch beautifully. Doesn’t slide around at all. Even when my dog’s are playing and jump on it. So easy to just put on whatever area you may want to protect from liquid. The given measurement, are exactly the measurements it came with. It is sturdy and well made. Sewn around the entire piece , securely. I found myself sitting on the cover, after I put it on the couch ,before leaving. It is so soft and comfortable. As I mentioned before, it doe NOT slide around. It also does not make you sweat, like a piece of plastic would. I had ordered one of these covers. Probably 2 hours after getting it, I ordered a second one. If you need to protect a sofa, chair, ottoman, bed, whatever, from the possible urination of your dog, this is truly something you will love. I mean that.

This dog bed cover/blanket is a total win! It does exactly what it promises—keeps my furniture protected from spills, accidents, and everyday wear. The waterproof layer works great without feeling stiff or crinkly, and it’s still soft and comfortable for my dog to lounge on. The anti-slip backing is a huge plus—it actually stays in place on the couch instead of sliding around every time my dog jumps up. t does what it’s supposed to for the most part keeps my couch protected from cat hair and minor spills. The waterproof layer works decently, and I like the anti-slip backing since it helps keep the cover in place better than regular blankets. It’s also fairly easy to toss in the wash, which is a big plus. That said, it’s not perfect. The material feels a bit thinner than expected, so I’m not fully confident it would hold up against heavier accidents or long-term wear. It can also shift around more than I’d like, especially with an active cat jumping on and off furniture. The overall look is just okay, not the most stylish option if you care about how your living space looks. Overall, it’s a decent, functional cover for basic protection, but there’s definitely room for improvement in durability and design.

This is a great product, yes I have a dog but purchased cause my hubby has brain cancer & can't do alot & makes alot of messes. These work so much better than sheets/towels etc. on the couch & since they're non slip you can even put them down on the wood floor & they don't slide & have so many colors they just blend into your furniture, floor. Wanted to tell people about an alternative use. I bought 2 & then 2 more to make laundry easier. Affordable & so easy to throw in the wash. Make sure you air dry or use the low setting on the dryer. I swear I wasn't encouraged or endorsed to make this post. I rarely submit.

I purchased this because my dog and I often take a Lyft or Uber and they sometimes require a blanket to cover the car seat before a dog gets in. I needed something light weight and would roll up small enough to fit into a back pack. Also it needed to have the back side be non slip other wise the blanket just slides off the car seat. I used a different blanket before I got this and the other one didn't work at all because it didn't stay on the seat. So I saw this kind and got it. it is easy to throw in onto the seat, stays put, and is lightweight and rolls up small. This works well for our needs.
