I love these hanging curtain lights - I live in a northern city where the winters bring very short days, with long, dark nights and adding these strings of purple lights to my living space has brightened and enlivened my nights. For such a small package, the LEDs on these strings are bright, and have lasted quite a bit longer than I had anticipated. I leave them on all the time, and they don't seem to add more than pennies to my electric bill. They are long enough that they cover nearly the entire wall of a small bedroom, and reach from the ceiling to the floor. The wiring is wound in tight circles when the curtain lights arrive for convenience, and the shape will slowly become more straight as gravity takes effect. This is my second set of curtain lights, my first order went dark after a year of constant, 24/7 use, which to me, for the price is more than adequate. The remote works well, but I have rarely used it, since I leave my curtain lights on continually. The eight settings programmed into the remote offer a variety of lighting modes, such as steady light, fast blinking, slow blinking, alternating, or waves, glittering, etc. There is also a dimmer option, with a simple higher or lower button. The head of the remote has an ON and OFF switch, as well as a timer. Be Aware: The way these lights are packaged for shipping, the individual strands come tied in circles, and although I have always installed them on my own, it would be easier to have a helping hand, since the wire has a tendency to snarl. I had this happen with one strand, and after that I unfurled the others with more care, and had no problems. Just a thought . . . ... show more

The lights are perfect, the controller works well with it, I have no complaints. It can get tangled very easily so just remember to be patient and gentle.

I like this and it works great. The only thing is I connected it to smart plug and it doesn't turn on when I command it turn on, so I still have to turn it on manually. But other than it's working as it's supposed to.

Got his for my 11yr old daughter. She loves that she can change the colors to what mood she is in so that we don't have to ask. She also uses them as a light at night so it's not to bright to keep her awake. The cord is very long reach right across her room 11+ feet cause she only has two plugs in her room. Paid $25+ for 16 colors only to get red and blue. Doesn't matter what you push on the remote, it's red or blue. Some of the lights don't even work. A small portion of one strand will glow red and when blue is selected. It's disappointing. Pretty, but disappointing.

The media could not be loaded. These lights covered our wide window pretty well. I hooked them onto the back of our curtains without any trouble or any additional hardware. They are pretty bright and have various colors. However, the animations are not that sophisticated. On my video, you can only see them cycling from one color to another. Another mode is fading in and out. I had the impression of multiple colors at once. Also, after leaving it on for a few hours, the animation just stops and just stay static to red. Pressing the remote alleviates the issue, but I don’t know why the animation doesn’t loop infinitely. I paired these lights with The warm light LEDs of the same brand. Those lights, while only one color, has some fun animations. I wish these also had the same flashy animations since it costed more. ... show more
