Assemble was easy, but takes patience. They do a good job of illustrating how the cables should be routed but the cables are not long enough for the weight stack (see picture). You have to compromise with the adjuster to keep tension on the cables or the pin will fall out after two or three reps. Tension makes it very hard for my wife to change the weight. The sum of the weights may be 160lb but because of the short cables, you can’t use them all and they have funky (probably metric) weight increments so each “slab” is 12.5 lbs. I don’t usually fall for this stuff but I wasn’t paying attention to what the reviews were for (apparently some sort of gym mat) so they got my $500. The prospect of disassembling, repacking and getting all five packages to UPS is something they know not many of us will do

Very disappointed in the quality. The product had a lot of areas that were scratched and chipped, also the seat back was ripped at the edge. We contacted Amazon and were given the choice to return the item or receive a small discount. Since most of the machine was already together and it was a lot to take it apart, we opted for the small discount. But unfortunately it didn’t end there, when assembling the last few parts, the screw mechanism for the seat adjustment would not go in and since the machine was now basically assembled, we had to purchase a rethreading tool to finish assembling.

All 5 boxes arrived quickly. All boxes intact and well packaged. Easy to assemble and easy to understand diagrams. It was missing some bolts and washers and the sellers only solution was to pack up all 5 heavy boxes and return for a refund. OK, so no parts are available. I bought some suitable washers and bolts, and a new weight selector pin because the one provided is very short and doesn’t stay in.

This is for beginers who do light weights. Machine is very congested. If you are above 5.10/11 height, then this product is not suitable for you, look for something else. Iron is bending when you tight nuts. Not a long lasting peice.

Placed some curl bars on the mat. Crushes down from 1/4” to paper thin. It does disappear with time. So high density wouldn’t crush down like this mat. Need to remove “high” from description to be accurate.
