I'd give fewer stars if I could. The kit arrived and seemed great. I followed their instructions for germination exactly. Only the pine tree seeds sprouted. No problem, they offer a seed guarantee. So I used the QR code for seed replacement, followed the instructions, and waited. After a week, I emailed them explaining all this, and got an email back saying that they were looking into it. That was a week ago now. So, two weeks, and no seed replacement, or confirmation that a seed replacement will be made. So much for their guarantee, which was the main reason I went with this one. So, buy someone else's kit because these people won't honor their seed guarantee. ... show more

It might just be me. I had a grow your own bonsai kit as a kid but it started with keeping the seed in a wet napkin in the fridge for like 10 days or something and my mom thought it was trash and THREW MY BONSAI away so when I saw this kit I almost wept for joy and another chance. I think maybe I'm just not meant to grow a bonsai tree in this existence because nothing has happened for me yet. I won't give up hope though. Either way, a fun kit. ... show more
