This is a beautiful and nice sturdy gate but perhaps too heavy for our needs - our dog is a tiny chihuahua puppy. The gate is very heavy so if it tilts over it might injure my tiny pup. The gate is also very tall so if you plan on placing it in a high traffic area be careful don’t trip yourself.

This is a vast improvement over the plastic baby gate I had. That said, I think this is overpriced for what it is. It's not plastic but it has a "made somewhere else" quality for sure. Not that it's not tall and could easily be pushed open so this is more of a psychological barrier for smaller dogs because even small dogs could get past it. All in all it looks much better but I would probably look for higher quality with the next one.

I needed a way to keep the cats from escaping fully into the garage while I maneuvered out of the door on crutches. This gate was a the solution! By creating a safe space to get out while limiting how far into the garage the cats could escape to, I can manage to get out of the door, into the garage, closing the door, moving one arm of the gate, and moving it back once I have cleared it - all on crutches. And while it is easy to move, it is also sturdy enough that I don't fear the cats knocking it over.

We recently brought home a tea cup cavapoo to our family with established dogs. This gave the older dogs a little break from the crazy energy that puppies have all while allowing us to easily step over without having to open up the gate or take it down. It’s also easy to maneuver and manipulate into positions I need. It’s also so cute!

I like this gate so much after i got the first one I ordered two more just like it . Very well made , nice color, has little protective buttons on the bottom to help it from sliding on hard wood. Keeps my cocker spaniel puppy out of areas she is not allowed. Very glad I bought these. Would buy again. If the need arises.
