If you love to bake up delicious homemade pizza from scratch in your own kitchen, then the Cast Iron Pizza Pan by Home-Complete is an absolute essential! The 14” skillet is versatile; perfect for cooking a variety of foods, from pizza to eggs, bacon, cornbread, biscuits, pancakes, crepes, fajitas, burgers and more. Constructed from cast iron, this pan will heat evenly, and is a sturdy piece of cookware that you will be able to use and enjoy for many years to come! NOTES: To Season: Before use, rinse pan with hot water (no soap), then dry thoroughly. Cover pan completely with a thin layer of vegetable oil or shortening, place cast iron upside down on the top rack of your oven, place foil on the bottom rack to catch oil drippings, then heat your cookware for one hour at 350F. Let your cookware cool, then it is ready to use. To Clean: Simply rinse with hot water (do not use soap) and wipe with a sponge (do not use steel wool sponges). If there are stuck-on food remnants, scrub with coarse salt until clean. Dry thoroughly and rub with oil. To Use: For a crisper crust-prebake for 10 minutes at 450F, add sauce, cheese, and toppings then bake 10 minutes more, or until desired level of doneness. For softer crust, spread raw dough directly in pan, add sauce, cheese, and toppings and bake at 450F for 10-12 minutes or desired level of doneness. For best results, lightly grease pan before each use.

I like the way it cooks my pizza. I cooked 3 pizza. All three are different recipes for the dough and pizza. They all came out great. My husband ate them all. The only thing I found I don’t like. It don’t take a season to the cast iron. Like a Lodge pan does. It peel every time I wash it. The price is $30 compared to Lodge is $65. Also it is a 14” compared to Lodge it is 15 or 16” size. Was beautiful right out of the box, but I still give it a coat of oil and warm it up in the oven after a quick scrub. Initially I just wanted a big hunk of cast iron to make tortillas on without having a hot spot, I'm glad I got this bigger size. Made some sourdough pizza on a on the very first one barely resisted sliding off after I pulled it out of the oven.
