This was my first time contacting a seller on Amazon which now leads to me writing my first review. I bought one of these pillow covers because it was the perfect size for my 26" Ikea pillows and I wanted more choice than the covers Ikea had to offer. I selected Natural Linen but only bought 1 cover by mistake (thinking it came in a pack of 2 - I simply misread the option I had clicked). When I realized my mistake, I decided to order another pillow cover to match, only when the second pillow cover came, it was a slightly different color fabric than the first. I meant to return it as soon as I realized the colors didn't match and contact them to make sure my new order would match the first, but I ended up forgetting and waiting 2 months, which was past the return date. When I remembered about the cover, I decided that it was worth it to just see if I could exchange the cover, since I hadn't unpackaged it. I wrote to Home Brilliant with a description of what had happened along with a picture and tried to describe the first version of the color I received. They reached out to me almost immediately and offered to send a replacement for free to match my first cover! On top of that, correctly understood the color I was originally sent and mailed me a perfectly matching cover! Now I have two beautiful matching pillow covers that work well for my space, and look durable and well-made, and one that will still work well somewhere as a backup :) Thanks Home Brilliant for the great service! ... show more

I purchased the 20x20 baby pink as a throw pillow accent for my living room. The linen material is surprisingly durable - very thick, a bit stiff, doesn't pill or show wear/tear. It seems like it will hold up for a long time even with regular use. The zipper is really well concealed. I have to rotate the pillow several times just to find the zipper side. Even though the zipper is disguised well it's still easy enough to open/close and remove the insert. It's a great accent for a reasonable price. Hard to believe you could go wrong here. ... show more

I am using them as shams in my guest room, which has a nautical theme...i wanted it to mimic burlap but didn’t want the rough texture for a bed. They are nice, thick quality and it holds the shape. Note: be careful when getting wrinkles out from packaging as there is a sticky lining inside that will fuse. I gave 4 stars because I think this does make it harder for regular washing...will need to air dry for sure....this is for decoration for sure on a bed and durable enough to be on a couch as an accent. ... show more

Nice pillow covers that look like natural fiber. I steam ironed them, and put them on my old sad pillows and now they look like new! They hold a center chop well. These are the 18x18” Color: Light Linen The texture is not a rough burlap, but it’s not a soft velvety fiber by any means. I really like how they complement the ivory white tones of the rest of my bed, I recommend them! ... show more

So far, this seems like a very nice quality product. I bought the dark grey cover and I really like the color. It does have a taupe/brown undertone to it, but it looks very nice with the other colors I have in the room it’s going in. I just received it today and insert my very overstuffed 24 x 24 pillow into it. I think it looks great, it completely fills out the cover. Like I said, my pillow is very overstuffed though. If my pillow was not so stuffed, I may have purchased the 20x20 size to make sure that it looked very full inside the cover. It is a thick burlap type material, but not scratchy. The zipper seems to be well made. So far I’m very pleased. We will see how it holds up in the room of a rambunctious 4year old girl :). ... show more

    • Burlap linen covers cause pillows to slide
I purchased four of the Lined Burlap Linen pillow covers in Light Linen to update two decorative pillows and cover two down feather pillows. The material was thick and did indeed cover the design of the first two pillows which were beige with green and brown paisleys. The fit was perfect and the zippers were discrete. They held up well through one laundry cycle. The biggest complaint and reason for my return was the material was too "slippery" for my couch. We have leather couches and the pillows would constantly slide down. I would prop them in each corner but within seconds they would slide and lay flat. The material didn't give them any traction to stay in place. I loved the color and how well they covered the old decorative pillows but the sliding bothered me. Thankfully Amazon's return process is simple. I wish they would have worked since the burlap look was perfect for my beach themed living room. ... show more
