I'm 5'5" and 120 lbs. Slept on this every night from January 24th to August 24th. This morning the entire bed tipped as I was getting up, the cat went flying (as did I) and I saw the leg had broken. This is a steel leg, but it broke inside where it attaches -part of the metal snapped off so now the leg won't stay. I think this is a manufacturer flaw, as this is metal (?!?) but the Return window has closed, so I'm back to shopping for a foldable bed. To be fair this was not advertised as a bed to sleep on every night for 8 months and perhaps I overused it. Liked the design, and it suited my needs, I'll miss it!

The frame is sturdy but I would not recommend this for large people because the back support is held in place with 3 screws and will respond accordingly. The slats under the cushions seem just a tad thin compared to other slatted furniture I've owned, so as long as you don't have kids jumping on it or are obese and plan on flopping into it, it's a great little piece.

Couch is small yet comfortable enough for two people to sit on for a limited time. Looks good and doesn't take up the whole loft. The best part is it's not at all good for a prolonged sit or lay, which keeps the guests around for just long enough.

I purchased this darling couch in March of this year and two months later it was broken. Did not meet the requirements of sturdiness and cheaply made. No Wonder it was discontinued , I’m sure millions of others experienced the same thing. A few things to note is that the company Homcom did not stand behind their product and offered me an insulting amount to replace it which I then had to proceed through Amazon who conducted great customer service and refunded me the entire price of that couch. Second thing is the advertisement shows many pictures but they never show you the construction of the couch and how it’s made underneath: that’s why I add a picture of the flimsy wooden slats that they said would hold 660 pounds!! Right! I ended up donating it to my family carpenters, so it wasn’t a complete waste because they could reconstruct and put it together with the proper materials to make it sturdy enough! I am a 76-year-old woman and that wasn’t in my résumé, so I rely on descriptions of products and reviews of others to make my decisions and there’s so much in spite of all the good reviews intermingling between bad, but this project was just down right misleading! Thirdly, I love this couch so much I found it at world market cost plus for a tad bit more but made out of solid wood and steel along with it being wider and more comfortable with different padding and definitely worth the money. Thanks to Amazon for backing the products even though their vendors don’t take responsibility! Thank you cost plus, I am happy now!!!
