I LOVED this chair, such a cute gothic design and the padding/seat was wonderful. Unfortunately, after a year the wooden bottom of the chair cracked near one of the legs and the seller does not replace the part. I am trying to fix it myself but in doing so discovered that the leg was improperly built - such that it does not align with the supporting wood inside of the seat (hence why the crack happened). I can't answer whether it's top heavy or unstable, as I have it up against a wall, and don't intend to move it. It was fairly easy to install, except for the last step of putting the legs on. I had already read in another review that the last two holes to screw the legs into were in the back piece, so I knew where to look. The problem is that the flap in the back velcroes down along the bottom and covers those holes up. So you have to either pull it back or try to screw through the fabric. So a couple things. I saw this chair being sold by a couple different vendors on Amazon and I thought that the sofa part was going to have a storage on it. And when I got this chair, it did not. I guess I should’ve known better because in the description it did not have that but it look like the same exact chair by the other vendor that did have the storage. That alone made me want to take it back but I still liked the chair and sending things back as a pain in the butt. I Assembled the chair by myself and it was a little bit of a hassle but I managed. And also I thought the chair was going to be a bit taller than it was. At least the tall backing of the chair. It’s a little bit short. It doesn’t make quite the statement I was hoping it would make. I say even for the price they still could’ve added an extra foot to the back of the chair. Overall the Design is cute. It’s a little accent chair which makes my apartment more lively plus I need it more seats so it does it’s job. For the size of the chair it should’ve been $100 chair not 200… But it is what it is ... show more

So it was shipped super fast, I read a lot of reviews that said it was hard to put together?? It was extremely simple to put together and the directions were easy. I was only bummed that one side of the back of the chair was lifted:( it’s nothing that wood or upholstery glue can’t fix, just more inconvenient and it could have happened from the shipping because fedex shipped it 🙄🙄 so maybe if it was just some how more secure in the box would be appreciated for the future. As for comfort, it’s obviously a chair for decorating/vanity so it isn’t meant for comfort but I still enjoy sitting on it :) ... show more
