I was searching specifically for a massage chair, and the price attracted me to this one ($149 at the time). Let's put all our cards on the table though, this is not a shiatsu massage - it is a vibrating massage. And trust me, you can feel the difference. But, having said that, the price for the superior shiatsu massage chairs is prohibitive for me, so this is definitely second best. You can feel the vibrating in your upper thighs, lower back, and upper back between your shoulders. It feels just like if someone were to hold one of those vibrating wands to your back, but not move it around. It's not going to satisfy you as well as a moving massage, but it is better than nothing. I game for hours and this chair prevents my back from hurting. The chair was easy to assemble, included clear instructions, and everything worked out of the box. The remote has a simple monochrome liquid crystal display and does not feel cheap. It is responsive, even when the batteries are low. There is no battery strength indicator, but the display will turn from bold black to light black due to lack of battery strength. I like that the arms are padded, this prevents my elbows from getting sore while I use the keyboard. The chair isn't significantly plush, but it is comfortable nonetheless. Been using it daily for almost 2 months and has not broken or given me any problems. Only had to change the remote control batteries once, presumably because the included starter batteries are of low quality. A couple Duracell's in there should last awhile. I recommend this chair to someone that wants a massager, but can't afford a shiatsu.

The Chair is very comfy and doesn't really need to be broken in. Its massage feature is top notch with many different modes! I cycle through them after work till i find one that feels just right and am sitting in the thing right now! The chair is worth more than the price their asking for and I am glad I found this chair. Just in time for winter too with the heating options. This review is all over the place, I normally don't review things. The only two things I wish this chair had which is really nitpicking is I wish the thing could go just a tad lower, and that the heating has a timer on it that lasts only for 20 minutes, though I haven't checked if theres a way to extend it past that so there is a chance that I just don't know how to do it.

This is an initial review so I can't claim how dependable it is yet. As far as construction for the price it is very sturdy and holds together we'll. There are some minor gaps in the fit from leather to the plastic but being an Estimator for work I notice things like this, most people wouldn't and again for the price the couple MM that I can't see or feel I don't care. So I got the chair because I can't go out in the field due to corona virus and so I have something supportive for when I play PS4 with my buddies. So far it is very very comfortable. The heating function, recline, and massage are great. Now the massager isn't like your getting a deal tissue message but it is nice and noticable. My girlfriend built it while I was working, I think 20-25 minutes with a glass of wine lol. So fairly easy. Overall I love it and my cat loves it too. It goes well with the new desk I got from Wayfair shown in the photo as well. *****Update December 2021**** lost 1 star for durability Overall I would still buy this chair. I don't game all the time or sit in it all the time, but where I rest my elbow has deteriorated to the fabric underneath. It also tilts a bit when I move. Like the base is slightly worn so it tilts, without wanting to tilt, slightly. It's minor, but enough to bother me. For a cheap chair it's great, looks nice and lasted a decent time, but it's not like a higher quality chair that will last you for years.

This chair is.... pretty good. It looks nice and it's comfortable enough. I have osteoarthritis in my hips and a bulging disc in my back and I've sat in this chair for over 2 hours at a time without pain. It does feel a bit wobbly at the post, so much that I asked my husband to check to see if I built it correctly, which he said I did. I suppose that's the way it is. Not enough to annoy, tho. The "massage" is more of a powerful tickle and not in a good way, so I don't use that. But the heat feature is ok because it puts out a very gentle warmth even on "high". The color is more of a creamy custard color. I wouldn't categorize it as white, but it works with my setup. Also, it is NOT cat proof! One of my cats jumped on it 3 hrs after I built it and created a couple shred marks. Ugh! Overall, I like it and it shipped basically next day, which was great. I think I was probably expecting too much.

I bought this chair thinking it would be comfortable while doing crafts with my daughter who’s 3 , I have issues with my back . After the first time I used it the seat padding was non existent , it was like sitting on a board, so I purchased a cushion made for this type of chair, which was ridiculous being the chair was brand new and I weight 120 soaking wet. I noticed the chair seemed to move side to side like it was flimsy or it had nothing securing the seat to keep it in place with out constantly teetering side to side , I’ve had this chair a little over a month and sat in it maybe half a dozen times. I noticed the left arm was also moving , if felt like it popped out of socket and I’d have to push it back in, I’ve only sat in this chair, nothing else , and I feel the quality should be a whole lot better for over 200.00 , I got one use ? I am really unhappy with this chair, I would NOT recommend this . I honestly thought it would last at least a year with no issues, boy was I wrong . buyer Beware.

Wow! I’m glad I treated myself. This is one sweet chair. First, the color is beautiful. It’s a light buttercream. Second, the heat is just wonderful especially for people who like sweaters, a space heater or blanket for colder office days. Third, the massage is a delight. I never thought I’d want to sit in an office chair longer than necessary but I’m finding myself sitting in this chair for mini-breaks from housework on weekends lol! The massage is on the bottom, back, neck and goes in a variety of ways-one where I can’t even memorize the pattern nor would want to. The heat can go on separately without massage. That was one of my concerns . Timers from 15 to 30 to 60 minutes. The pneumonic lever works fine for large people. My two complaints are that 1. there was basically no instructions or operating manual and 2. The side button for recline doesn’t work or lock in place. Instead, you just push your back to recline or sit up to have the chair come back.

When I first got this i was pretty happy except for the massage features which are subpar. It only vibrates and included lots of noise while turned on including rattling metal. 1 year later the leather is all torn up on the seat and arms. Im not a heavy person to do this level of damage. Also with every shift of my weight this makes loud creaks and groans. I'm already looking to replace it with something new.
