I ended up sorting through a bunch of portable fireplace listings, it seems anything 17" or larger they make in floor models, anything smaller seem to be table models. so I wanted one of the smallest floor models because I wanted an inexpensive fireplace for our RV. It's actually perfect. Has option to just have the flames but no heat which Is mostly what I was after for our RV, really needed for ambiance. It had a 750watt setting which blows nice warm air and a full 1500watt. I've had wood heat most of my life and wanted to feel the comfort of a wood stove in our RV but didn't want to actually have one installed somewhere and take up space. This is compact and I'm probably gonna use it in my bedroom when we're not traveling. No Remote but 3 easy switches on the side for easy operation, ambiance is perfect, size small for my RV is also perfect and now it's gonna live in the house when we're not RVing. Everything is metal except the legs. Legs are super sturdy and easy to screw onto the unit. Compact and at this size could be a table model or a floor model. ***It is entirely plastic except for the mechanism inside. No Remote came with it, but with the switches on the side I doubt it was ever designed for a remote. You need a child's hands to get the legs on the thing or you have to take the heater off and then put them on. The pane of glass is plexiglass at best. It smelled of burnt plastic the first time I used it, but after I broke it in the garage for 30 minutes, I never smelled the plastic again. My family is very happy with it, as it is light weight, and it follows them all around the house. It does the job of heating the room with the added benefit of a cozy light show. This might not last a long time, but at this price we assume nothing less than a few years of use at most. Looks Great! *** We moved to a new house and we needed a small heater for general use around the house. More importantly so I could have the Christmas tree and open presents in the 3 seasons room with the windows shut and not freeze to death. It arrived before Christmas which was lovely and it was ordered on very short notice. ... show more

Intentionally misleading advertising. Worse design ever. There are 4 plastic not attached legs that you would need fingers the size of a two year old and a 20 inch magnetic thin Phillips head screw driver to install if you even get them lined up correctly. I’ve been putting furniture together for years. This is such a poor design that one could only call it a scam. Without the legs since the heat comes out the bottom the heater turns off after over heating whatever surface it is sitting on. It’s tiny and made cheap to scam you outta your money. ... show more

Nice for a small space. Very cheep plastic. Will heat a small room. Does not have a thermostat!!!!!!! It's on/off Low heat Med heat On/Of Better to get one where you can set a temp and let it turn off and on it's own

Read the sizing description… It’s very small but perfect for what I wanted in my reading nook. Great size for a bathroom, office or RV No assembly required which was a bonus. The flames add for a perfect reading atmosphere. (I added an 8x10 frame on top so you can see size in the pictures)

    • Switches won’t work meaning heating won’t work
I got this back in late October 2025 and it’s early February 2026 and this is already not working. It has an on switch and level 1 and level 2 heating switches. So 3 switches total. The level one switch won’t “click” any more. That happened like 2 days ago. Well today I go to turn in the second switch because my room felt cold when I went back after doing some dishes and taking a shower and in the hour of me being gone, it has stopped working/heating. If you turn it on, the flame effect will turn on, but otherwise it won’t work. I got a 15 little heater from Walmart almost 10 years ago and that tiny thing heats my room just as well is not better and is still going strong. When you consider how difficult the legs were to put on, you’d think it would last longer. I saw the other reviews saying it didn’t last long but decided to give it a chance….. I wish I had spent another $30 on one that had more consistent reviews ... show more
