The look of this heater is really nice, and the size is perfect as well. The temperature can be lowered or raised, but I found that keeping it at 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit is plenty warm. Communication with the company's customer service representative was excellent, so very happy with everything!

The media could not be loaded. Picked this fireplace to help supplement the heat in our family room. It has a nice look to it vs. some of the other fireplaces I looked at. Puts enough heat out to take the chill off in our family room. The flame effect is actually more realistic than I thought it would be. We’ve had a couple compliments on it. I originally bought one of these heaters four or five years ago. After about a year of use, the light bulbs that create the artificial flame, blew, but the heater still worked great. A few weeks ago, for some reason, the artificial flame came back on. Not sure what happened at that point, but the unit did overheat and the plug got so hot it melted my wall outlet. When it was time to replace it, I bought the same unit again because I like it so much and it works so well. ... show more

    • Heating element doesn't last
This heater worked great for 2 years and now the heating element doesn't work. I should have went with Duraflame.

    • Great little fireplace but does have a few flaws.

Good little unit and it looks amazing however it does have one major flaw. The temperature setting doesn't really seem to have an immediate setting, meaning that if you turn it up a few degrees it takes forever to register and actually turn on. To solve this, since the room we use it in isnt really occupied that much, we turn it on to warm up the room then just use the remote or front panel if it needs adjusting more than just a touch. The flame are nice and I do love the fact that the sides are also transparent so you can see them from any angle. Looks so good on those cold nights when you just want to snuggle up. ... show more
