The media could not be loaded. I was impressed with how easily it went together. It is beautiful and the heater removes the morning chill so well. The morning temperatures have been in the teens and lower 20s. We did place 8 stepping stones under it to create a hearth, but you don't have to because it is quite steady. If you have little ones it comes with wall mounts,but we don't so we didn't. My husband finds its out put of heat very comfortable.
