This is so pretty and I was so excited to use it but the heat would only stay on for 5 or 10 minutes and the whole thing would shut off. It did not overheat or cause any problems with the circuit breaker. I am going to order another one and hope this one works better, but if not, I will go with a different brand. I gave it to stars just because it is beautiful. Also, it was a pain to get it sent back and a refund code. I got charged $47 to send it back after which they contacted me to tell me I could keep it because they could not refund my money for the shipping, only the product so I won’t be buying from them again or any third-party on Amazon. They had told me they were going to refund part of my shipping cost for my trouble, and now they are telling me they are only refunding what I paid for it. ... show more

I reviewed once about the delivery being late, tried to edit but can't find my first review. The heater arrived 4 days late (mind you FedEx is at fault for that) upon arrival, I give it 3 stars solely for the flame effect, that's better than I expected. The mounting instructions could be more clear it wasn't difficult for me but I can see how it could be for some. The rocks make an annoying racket while the heat is on, I took them out after about 20 minutes and the noise stopped which is unfortunate because the rocks add to the look of the flame effect. The heat works good for what I need it for but I don't need it to be my main source of heat just to cut the chill out of the room. Fix the problem with the noise of the rocks and I could see this getting more stars. ... show more
