Color was as expected. As others have noted, the top is not stationary and will slide off easily. I got a slipcover for it which helps in that regard. I had no problems with assembly. I haven't used the bed yet so I can't speak to how comfy it is for sleeping. I may edit review once someone uses the bed.

I bought this for my 5-year-old daughter who doesn't want to sleep in her own bedroom, but wants to be near her mommy and daddy, and let me just say, it is perfect for small spaces and easy to store away at the foot of our bed! I did end up purchasing a mattress topper to make it a bit softer.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to fold and unfold. Easy assembly. The only assembly is screwing on the six legs. The top is secure enough It looks as though the top can slide off because the sides aren’t raised around it. While trying to sit I purposely leaned against the top at an angle in an attempt to knock it off and it doesn’t shift. I think the friction of the fabric and the bit of weight the top has keep it from sliding. When I go to sit on it I hear creaking from the lid as though wood is splitting. I’m about 140LBs, so I think this was built to rest your feet on but not anything much heavier. The foam pad The foam pad is in a zipped case, so over time you can buy new foam to put in the case. I was on it for about two minutes and left indentations in it so I was thinking this may not be so comfy to sleep on all night. It isn’t. It’s not as uncomfortable as sleeping on the floor but close to that feel. It’s still great quality given the price. Size (as an ottoman) The details say it can be used as a foot rest but it’s taller than my couches and table. I’m 5’4 and if I sit in the middle this my feet come off the floor. It’s wide enough for two average-sized women to sit on, but I don’t recommend sitting on it too often due to the wood-splitting sound mentioned above. Size as a bed I’m a female. 5’4. 140LBs. While lying, I have about 4 inches of space; enough to sleep with my hands just above my head. Someone over 5’5 would fit, but wouldn’t be comfortable due to changing positions. It isn’t very wide, which I like. I’ve slept in a king sized bed and threw myself all over it, so I wasn’t rested waking up. If you understand what swaddling does for a baby, this has a similar effect on a sleeper like me. I moved around less, which meant waking myself up less often and using less energy while sleeping. So I woke up feeling rested. Weight I’m a female who’s 5’4. While carrying this up to the second floor the weight wasn’t an issue. Due to its size and my height it would hit the step ahead of me while walking up normally. I had to place both feet on each step to avoid this. It’s heavy enough to let your husband or teenage son show off his muscles by moving it for you. Price vs quality I have yet to use it, but straight out of the box I’m pleased with this purchase. Nothing about it looks or feels cheap.

I really like it but didn't like how it came with two bent legs. It didn't fit on all the way and was wabbling when used. I had to remove all the legs so wood wouldn't get damaged beyond repair.
